Just a heads up, this will also be quite a short chapter.

Unfortunately, Papa was shot several times. "Papa!" I yelled as I ran to his lifeless body. Lisa came up behind me with a look of fear in her eyes as I (most likely) had myself right now. I would have told her to call 9-1-1 but then I remembered how utterly incompetent the Springfield Police Department is, so I told Johnny to help me get Papa into the car to drive us to the hospital ourselves. Naturally, the Simpsons came with us out of concern for my Papa. When we all got to the hospital I yelled "Please, help my Papa's been shot!" to any nurse or doctor I could find. Right away, the nurses looked him over and put him on an empty gurney to take him to get the bullets out of his body before it was too late. After that was done, I asked one of the nurses where the chapel was, so that I could beg God not to take my Papa away from me. I ran as fast as I could to the Chapel, I entered and genuflected in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. I sat down in one of the pews, "God I know my Papa's done some illegal stuff in his life. But please don't take him away from me yet, I still need him. He teaches me all kinds of things: how to put on a tie properly, how to get around fractions in my math homework, and most importantly how to properly worship you! And I'm not ready to be without him yet."

I cried for what seemed to me like hours, but after going to the bathroom to wash my face I said to myself. "Papa would want me to be brave, so God, I implore you to help make me brave," I begged God hoping He would help me be the bravest I've ever been.

Hope you enjoyed this chapter. Fun fact I used the "bravest I've ever been" quote from a cartoon that is very relatable to a lot of people.
