"Ok, all you fly cats and kittens let's give a big round of applause for a newcomer to the stage. Michelle D'Amico!" He announced to the audience.
I walked up to the stage with my head held high so that no one could tell how nervous I was.
"Hello, this is my first time singing in public. So, I hope you'll like it." I said into the microphone.
This is the song that Michelle Plays and Sings:
As I was singing, I noticed a boy who looked to be about my age come up to the stage with a violin to join in. I wasn't upset with it since this song did include a violin as well as a guitar. He had dark skin, lustrous hair in a crown of dreadlocks, and a kind smile as he played his violin. He wore light blue jeans, black Converse shoes, and a red shirt that had a "Question Authority" symbol on the front.
I will be including a picture of this OC of mine soon just please be patient.
After the song was finished and the two of us walked off the stage, we chatted. "You play really well," I told him. "Thanks, so do you. You're a great singer." The boy told me. "Thank you for the compliment. My name is Michelle." I introduced myself, bringing my hand out to his to shake it. "My name is Elijah King," Elijah said shaking my hand. "How old are you?" I asked him. "8. What about you?" He asked. "Same. Are you new to Springfield?" I asked. "Yeah, my family and I just moved here." He answered gesturing to his mom and dad at their table in front of us.
His dad looked tall even though he was sitting down, he wore red rectangle rim glasses, a pastel yellow dress shirt with a matching dark blue jacket and pants, with black dress shoes. He had dark skin like his son's, he was bald and had a short black beard that covered the lower part of his face. His dad smiled when he saw the two of us and his mom followed suit. His mom was wearing a beautiful sundress that was pastel blue with sunflowers at the bottom, and yellow high heels; she had red lipstick on which complemented her eyeshadow. His mom had beautiful hair that was also braided like her sons except Her's was more in the form of a ponytail. Unlike her husband, she didn't wear glasses.
"Well, let me be the first to welcome you to Springfield. If you want, I can show you around." I suggested. "I'll have to check with my mom and dad first, but I'm sure it'll be ok." He said. "Ok, let's give each other our numbers so that you can tell me if it's okay or not," I said pulling out my phone. "Sounds like a plan." He said taking out his phone as well.
After getting his phone number and saving him on my contact list, I noticed that Lisa and Bart were being approached by some of the adult jazz musicians at our table. "I gotta go. I hope we'll get to play music again sometime." I told him as I headed toward Lisa's table. "Same here," Elijah said as he waved goodbye.
