You managed to calm the questions down, and thankfully your classmates forgot about it.
You ended up walking home with Mina and tsu. Tokoyami had gone home on his own.
"Y/N, what's your number?" Mina asked.
"Huh? Oh." You pulled out your phone and showed her the number. You did the same for tsu.
You all split off to your homes. Keigo was still working late so you didn't have much to do. You got dinner going and watched some tv. When you were done, you headed off to bed.
~time skip. (Also my brain is fried cause I had a big test today so sorry if the writing isn't as good.)~
You got up and saw tsu and Mina texted you. You put in their contacts and got ready for school.
Once you got to class, you sat down, Mina and tsu sitting in their seats next to you. Mina leaned back in her chair.
"Hey, guys. So..." the frog girl catching Mina before she could fall. "Who do ya thinks gonna teach class today?"
"No idea. Mr. Aizawas still in the hospital recovering from his injuries." Tsu thought.
The door opened to... was that a mummy cosplaying aizawa?
"Morning class." The muffled voice of the teacher spoke. The class was concerned for the teacher. "My well being is irrelevant. What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet."
"Please tell me it's not more villains! I got off the hook last night...." You muttered under your breath.
"The UA sports festival is about to start." Aizawa announced.
You felt your soul leave your body. "Thank goodness."
"LETS GO KICK SOME ASS!!" Kirishima bolted from his seat.
Kaminari just pushed his face down. "Wait a second."
"Is it really such a good idea to hold the sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jiro pointed out.
"They could attack once we're all in the same place." Ojiro added on.
"Apparently, the administration thinks this is a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever." Aizawa explained. "Plus, they're beefing up security compared to past years. This event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA. It's not something we can cancel because of a few villains."
The trash can grape spoke up. "I'm sorry but why not? It's just a sports festival."
"Our sports festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world. In the past, everyone obsessed over the Olympic Games. But then quirks started appearing. Now, the Olympics have been dramatically reduced in terms of scale and viewership. For anyone who cares about competition, there's only one tournament that matters. The UA sports festival." The mummy pro explained
"That's right!" Yaoyorozu chimed in. "And top heroes everywhere will be watching. This is where you get scouted."
"Sure unless your dead." Why is he still talking?
"She's right! After graduating a lot of people join pro agencies as sidekicks." Kaminari gave a thumbs up.
Aizawa spoke up again. "It's true that joining a famous hero agency can garner you greater experience and popularity. That's why the festival matters. If you wanna go pro one day, then this event could open the path for you. One chance a year, three chances in a life time. No aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival. That means you better not slack off on your training. Class is dismissed."
