After Link shot the arrow, he rushed into the center of the cave where he fought diligently until he was struck down by the spikes on the tail of one of the creatures.

Now, kneeling on his sword for support in the center of the cave, the creatures circles him. For some weird reason, he felt as if Zelda were here, watching him, waiting for him to save her.

He could hear her voice calling to him from the castle. That sparked something inside of him: determination. He stood up, pulled his sword from the ground, and leapt into action.

He jumped straight to the wall, which he jumped off of and into the air. He swung his sword, now at full power and glowing blue. A vibrant dash of colors erupted in the air as he cut a fin from the fish-like creature. Blue blood spurted from it's side as a bone-shattering roar of pain left it's lungs.

Sensing another one coming behind him, he twirled around, midair, and kicked the creature upward, from the jaw, before falling back to the ground.

He could hear Fenestra's cheers from the cave entrance. He thought, instead of killing all the creatures, him and Fenestra could make a run for it to the cave opening. She could find a way to expand the gap while he covers her.

He waved Fenestra over, and worry immediately overwhelmed her face.

Before Link could do any more, one of the creatures came up behind him, nearly tearing him to pieces. Luckily, Link dodged to the side, the sound of his boots scraping the dirt floor.

Pain shot through his entire body as he remembered his wound. He needs to get out fast. While the creatures swirled around him, he called waved Fenestra over.

Though anxiety was pasted all over her, she ran as fast as she could, dodging an attack from one of the creatures, to Link. She grabbed his arms as she reached him.

She looked into his gloomy eyes, "Mystery Boy, you can't let them touch me! If they even put a scratch on my arm, I'll be vaporized. We need to go," she pointed towards the gap.

Link nodded and grabbed her wrists, sprinting though the cave. The creatures nose dived toward them, landing face-down in the dirt and sending debris flying everywhere.

By the time the reached the bottom of the rock slide leading to the opening, the creatures were heading straight towards them, and they had no way out.

Link began to push Fenestra up the rocks, helping her climb them, while he stood his ground. When she was high up enough, he readied his sword, preparing to fight.
