No no no no not again. I quickly ran out of the house. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me to the bus stop. It's always difficult getting a bus here and I can't possibly take a taxi as it would be triple the expenses. But when I stood for about 20 mins and no sign of a bus, I yielded to the other option.

I kept checking my time from time to time. The taxi driver must have noticed I was in a hurry since he kept looking at me from the rear mirror. I'm in a big trouble right now. I am running late, again. That means another strike and it's too early to start having strikes at work I just started.

The taxi driver dropped me off at the parking lots and I ran inside the building.

"Good morning ma, can I sign in?" I asked the receptionist.

She responded and requested for my office ID which I gave her. She got busy with her computer. After a while she raised her head to look at me once again and asked.

"Miss. Armstrong right? Our report says you already had a strike. And you checking in late today means another strike" she asked to confirm. I was silent because I didn't know what to say.

"You know the rules here miss, It may be hard for you to  make it here in time, but I advise you adjust because inhere, everything is taken seriously" she said looking at me with concern.

I mean no one wishes their fellow colleague to be fired right?

"Thank you for your concern, I'll do my best" I replied

"Good morning ma'am" She quickly stood up from her seat, standing stiffly as if she has seen a ghost while bowing her head.

I turned to see who she greeted. My jaw dropped and the Pen I was holding fell off my hand. My knees got weak instantly. And my heart started racing as usual. She is wearing a white blouse, with ash pant, fitting perfectly on her. Her black heals and handbag aren't left out. She's just too gorgeous. Everything on her looks quite expensive. I took more glances at her until she got close. I comported myself into a bow and greeted her.

"Miss Armstrong right?" She asked.

"Yess ... Yes ma..." I stuttered.

"Follow me" she said and walked past me to the elevator still with her arms folded.

I looked at the receptionist who was already giving me a pity look. Like she already knows what that means and feeling sorry for me. I smiled at her trying to hide my nervousness just so she could relax.

It was silent in the elevator as if we were mourning. I was standing behind her. I couldn't help but admire her. Her straight long hair, her beautiful body. I closed my eyes as I inhale her scent. It's so sweet. I started imagining myself in her arms where I can sniff her as much as I want.
My mind flashed back to what happened last night especially what Irene and Nam told me. Now I'm having a heartache again. My thoughts were interrupted by the elevator beep.

We walked inside and everyone stood up to greet her. her secretary walked towards us to welcome her.

This is the second time since I started working here that I have been to that floor. The first was when we had the interview. The offices located at the Boss's floor are meant for only the administrators, heads of departments, her secretary and also a large hall for the office meetings. So we don't usually come there except for meetings or you want to see the boss and seeing the boss when you're not the head of your department, nor her secretary, nor her office maid means you're in trouble. So am I in trouble?? I kept asking myself. Now I'm so nervous.

When we got to her office, she dropped her handbag on her desk, switched on the TV, and grabbed the AC remote to switch it on.

"Is there any new development??" She asked her secretary and when she answered she continued
