ONCE AGAIN

part 30

Irene is seen in Heng's shirt resting her head on his laps in the living room. Heng is stroking her hair at the same time watching a thai GL show titled Gap the Series. Irene's phone started vibrating and immediately she answered that she jerked up.

"Oh shit! I totally forgot!" She exclaimed and started running up the stairs to Heng's bedroom.

"What happened? Are you alright?" Heng asked while going after her.

"I'm supposed to pick Richie at the airport this afternoon" she screamed.

"Who's Richie?" Heng asked confused.

"My cousin, Becky's brother. He's coming back today. Becky couldn't pick him up. They have office tour and she must be there...." She said wearing her clothes

"Yeah, Freen said they will spend 3 days there. Her client is hosting them" Heng cut in.

"Richie has already arrived at the airport. I totally forgot. I need to rush there now" she said.

"I'll give you a ride." He immediately started getting dressed also.

After a while they left together to the airport. Richie is in Thailand for business purposes. He also wants to use the opportunity to see his grandma and younger sister, and perhaps meet the almighty Freen Sarocha who broke his sister's heart. Irene has been really helpful in giving them details of everything. The dad doesn't like Freen because of the stories he has heard. He ships Becky with Nita instead. And with the help of Becky, Richie's responsibilities have reduced and he no longer do the night sleep over with ladies.  He arrived home after some hours journey from the airport. His grandma has prepared so much for him but he was a bit disappointed that he won't get to see his sister until after 3 days.

"It's so nice to have finally met you Mr. Heng" Richie said stretching out his hand.

"Welcome to Thailand Richie" Heng replied while shaking him.

"I'm glad you're good to my cousin. But I hope it won't get cut off soon as your ex wife wants to get you jailed" Richie asked out of nowhere. Heng looked at Irene surprisingly.

"There is no worries about it. She has dropped all the charges." Heng responded.

"Oh that's good then. I know how much my cousin loves you and I wouldn't want her to get hurt. I want the best for her." Richie said

"I assure you that she's safe with me" Heng said and they both smiled.   Irene shouted from the kitchen that the food is ready. They both left to the dinning. After they finished eating, Richie decided to have a video call with his sister to also let her know he arrived safely.

"Oh who's that beautiful lady sleeping on your shoulder?" Richie asked

"Shhh, you'll wake her" Becky replied

"Someone is so sweet to their boss." He teased

"No I'm not. I'm just not so evil to push her away" Becky replied

"Therefore you allowed your boss rest on your shoulder huh? I thought you said you hate her?"

"I still do. She'll soon marry someone else that is not me. So tell me why I shouldn't hate her?" Becky said.

"Guess you're still on your way. Enjoy your field trip little sister. I don't want to wake the love of your life" Richie teased again and ended the call.

The bus is ready and everybody is already here except for one person, "Becky". Isn't she coming again? I need her to come. It's because of her that I'm here. I don't usually join in field trips like this, I always have a representative but this time I'm willing to do it all because of Becky but she's not here. I keep looking around every corner. I thought of calling her but didn't. I don't want her to think I desperately need her here. especially now that She's no more in love with me. But where the hell is she?
