It's been two days since Cameron was discharged from the hospital. Three days since Andrew died. Nico dealt with work as I helped Cameron settle into Ben's house.

Today was a day I wanted to dedicate to Nico. Just him and I. No distractions. We've barely gotten time alone and I've been craving his affection even more.

"Would you like to join me, sunshine?" He asked, leaning over the couch.

I was lying down with Ryder, reading my favourite book. He was wearing a black top with grey sweatpants. I'd forgotten how to breathe, and my body was burning up.

I nodded excitedly, getting up from the couch. "I'll get changed and meet you in the gym"

He smiled, kissing the top of my head before making his way toward the home gym.

Working out hadn't always been an outlet for me until recently. Wanting to feel good and do something productive. Pilates was my go-to.

I decided to subtly match Nico, wearing a black seamless crop top paired with seamless grey shorts.

After grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, my book and earphones, I stepped into the gym.

Nico had just gotten off the treadmill, turning to face me. His lips parted, panting slightly.

I smiled at him, walking toward the counter. I put my earphones in, playing my workout playlist. As much as I love listening to music, I usually end up spending the majority of my time changing the song.

I walked toward the treadmill seeing Nico in the same position as before, his eyes were so soft. He smiled at me, placing his hands on my waist.

"I'm supposed to focus?" he asked, licking the bottom of his lip. "how?"

I pressed my head against his chest, hiding how red my cheeks may be. He squeezed my waist, kissing the side of my head.

"Okay," I chuckled, "focus. I'll be here"

He hummed, hesitantly letting go of my body. "Focus. Yeah"

I'd say he managed to focus well. My back was to him, jogging on the treadmill at a good pace.

Once I was done and practically downed half my water, I walked toward a mat and sat down. Nico took his shirt off, sweat glistening on his body. My heart was racing at the sight of him, taking it in.

He glanced over at me, surprised to see me looking. He shot a flirty wink before lying back down. Holy...

I shook my head to focus, lying down on the mat. Resuming the music, I focused on my workout.

My body was practically on fire, sweating. My head, down my neck, it was hot.

Nico swiped his thumb down his jaw, tilting his head at me with a smile on his face.

"Come here, pretty girl"

Focus. Focus. Focus. I bit back a smile, walking toward him. His eyes scanned me, exhaling shakily.

"Do you trust me?"

I nodded without hesitation, stepping between his legs. He raised a brow before lying back.

"Get on"

"What?" I laughed, placing a hand on my hip.

He laughed, gesturing me toward him. I walked around, looking down at his beautiful face.

"Lay flat. I won't drop you" he explained, putting his hands up. "I promise"

Nico Reign wanted to bench-press me.
