Sebastian stood by the bar, getting drunker by the second. Mr Reign took him away from the bar and over to sit at a table.

He had this entire game set up in an attempt to ruin things. He had no regard for me or his family, to how special this day is. I've been more than patient with him but right now, I wanted to kick his ass.

"I'm gonna speak to Sebastian" I excused myself, kissing the side of Nico's head.

We exchanged assuring smiles.

Sebastian didn't even look at me as I sat beside him, holding onto the water bottle in my hands.

I looked up at the sky, admiring the moon and stars. so beautiful.

"I still love you" he whispered. His voice was so raw and raspy. The whiskey stripped away any confidence he had.

Completely vulnerable.

"I love you and now you're married to my brother. Married!"

I lowered my eyes, not wanting to look at him. There was nothing more to say, nothing that I felt for him other than frustration.

"Is that why you brought Amara here?" my voice was calm. I had to be. "a plan to get me to yourself?"

He put his head in his hands, denying it. Not being able to look me in the eye and lie.

"I-it has nothing to do with you"

I scoffed, turning to face him. He looked at me with defeat. Pain.

"It has everything to do with me. When are you going to understand that? this?" I held up my hand, referring to the ring.

We were far enough for people to not hear our conversation, but they could see us. Notice the tone and frustration.

He reached for my hand, so I moved it away. "I would never hurt you"

"You already have"

"No. please don't say that"

I pressed my lips together. I was about to say it again, but it get us nowhere. This was my wedding, and I'm here trying to get my husband's brother to understand that we never stood a chance. That I would have never chosen him.

His body shifted toward me; a pleading look on his face. Like a sick dog.

"Has he touched you yet?"

There was a sinking feeling in my chest. Hearing this made me want to scream and throw up.

I hugged my body, looking at him in shock. He was genuinely asking this.

"What the hell are you asking me" I spoke in a hushed tone, furrowing my brows.

His eyes darkened as he licked his lips, scanning my body. "Has he touched you yet?"

I pushed myself back, needing him away from me. He was too close. I could smell the whiskey on his breath.

He leant closer reaching for me.

"What are you doing?" I scoffed, swatting his hand away.

My rejection pained him. His shoulders slumped in the seat, staring at me with defeated eyes. For a second, I actually felt bad for him.

"I think you should take some time alone. Work through everything" My voice grew softer as I stood up from the seat. "Whether you like it or not, I'm your sister-in-law now"

He shut his eyes in pain, bringing his hands to the sides of his face.

"Don't say that"

My eyes scanned the area. Everyone was having a great time. Nico glanced at me, tilting his head slightly. Making sure I was okay.
