"I don't understand the reason you guys should invite me over to a place like this", Isaac stuttered nervously while gesturing to the odd bushy surroundings. "Thought we've been over all these", he confusingly continued.
This prompted a huge laughter from James, who gestured to the figure sitting next to him on a huge log of decayed wood.
"Can you hear that, Ben?", he said amidst the roaring laughter at Isaac.
Just like James, it was actually hard to differentiate the figure of Ben, just that he had a clean-shaved head with trimmed beards to match. They were both smoking heavily and laughed loudly too, with a confused Isaac staring at them.
"We've been through nothing boy, your ultimatum is up and I'm sure you still don't have the pay yet", Ben amusingly said.
"In case you still want me to ring it out loud, well that's not a problem...", a smoking James added. "... you owe me money, and I want it back now."
Scared and nervous, Isaac explained he didn't have it yet due to the lack of work that required his attention. He further promised to pay them back when the money was available, while also pleasing them for more time. This prompted false sympathy from James and Ben, with the latter stating that he seemed to have more time for women than paying up his debts. Stunned by that remark, Isaac nervously mentioned that he didn't understand whatever Ben was talking about while looking at both men with fright.
"Oh Isaac, I've been seeing you with that new lady recently", James said while walking towards Isaac and putting his arms around him. "You can fool all but not me."
Ben chuckled as a sad and trembling Isaac explained to them that she was just a friend.
"All she did was invite me over to help check her power box", a nervous Isaac continued.
"That means you've done a lot to pay me with, as I see you there all the time", James hit back as he smiled and walked away from him.
"What's your excuse now?", Ben amusingly aimed a dig at a nervous and astonished Isaac, who explained that she kept inviting him over.
Trying to continue talking, James abruptly cuts in and tells him to stop with the lies, as well as not to get him angry. At this point, Ben got up and walked towards Isaac, as James went back to the log of wood to have his seat.
"You see, James right there doesn't want your pay in cash anymore", Ben gently said to Isaac. "Your services to him would make up for the payment."
With his surprise level increasing with time, Isaac exchanged consecutive glances with both James and Ben, as he stated that fixing up their electricities for free wouldn't be a problem. As he wanted to continue speaking, James abruptly cut in again to shut him up.
"... you'd have to lead us into the new lady's home tonight*, James said while blowing out a cloud of smoke. "That's my price unless you have my cash on you right now."
Isaac was dumbfounded for a few seconds before beginning to plead with them not to allow him to do that.
"Give me two more days to come up with your money, please", he shakily continued.
His pleas fell on deaf ears, as Ben sarcastically told him his money was no longer needed, with the only requirement being to lead them to Maureen's house later that night. The arguments between both men and Isaac went on for a while, as Isaac adamantly reiterated that he was not going to be a part of their plan due to Maureen being his friend. With that, James furiously sprang up to his feet and pulled out his gun on a frightened Isaac, who instantly began to plead for mercy.
"If you won't do it, then you die right here and now", a furious James roared aloud. "... you'd also be buried here and no one will ever find your corpse, how about that too?".
With Isaac still pleading for mercy while going down on his knees and gesturing with his hands, James asked if they had a deal or risk getting shot dead. With Isaac hesitating to speak up while stuttering, James cocked his already-pointed gun and shouted at him to speak up. Putting his hands forward to stop him from shooting, Isaac agreed to their proposal, as both men roared aloud with laughter with the gun still pointed at him.
"You see? That was so easy", Ben sarcastically said while putting his arms around the trembling Isaac. "All these (pointing to James' gun) is actually not necessary as long as you cooperate".
Putting his gun back in his trousers, James slated the mission for midnight, while threatening Isaac with death if he ever tried to warn Maureen or speak to Ray about it.
"Do I make myself clear?", he shouted at a destabilized Isaac, who abruptly affirmed with consecutive frightening nods.
Both men made a mockery of the show, as they decided to leave and meet up later for the execution of their plans. The troubled Isaac watched them laugh and leave, as he crumbled down on the heap of dry shrubs right next to him with his head in his hands.
