Your mom had finished making dinner. She walked to your room, knocking on the door. "Y/n, Kenma-kun, Tetsurou-kun, dinner's ready."

You open the door, smiling at your mom. "We'll be right down, mom."

She smiles and walks back to the kitchen.

You look back at the two boys in your room. "You two ready for dinner?"

Kuroo gets off the bed and walks over to you, a grin on his face. "Yup."

Kenma stood from his spot on the floor. "Sure. Can we play more after dinner?"

You shrug, starting to head to the kitchen with the two boys following you. "I guess."

Kuroo frowned. "We still have school tomorrow. We should head home after dinner. Don't forget, there's morning practice."

Kenma groaned. "I'd rather play games."

"Too bad."

You look between the two boys. "Well, I guess we could play games again this weekend if you'd like, Kenma."

Your mother heard what you were talking about as you and the boys walked into the kitchen. "Tetsurou-kun, Kenma-kun, would you two like to stay over for the weekend? We'd love to have you from Friday night all the way until Sunday evening after dinner. Would you two be interested in that?"

Kuroo beamed. "I'd love to. I'll ask my dad when I get home."

Kenma shrugged. "I'll see if my parents would be ok with that."

Your mother had a large smile on her face. "It would be wonderful if they say yes. I'm so glad Y/n made such good friends and is as happy as she is."

Your dad agreed. "I didn't think Y/n would be so happy with this move. She had seemed so upset about the whole thing that she was unwilling to join any clubs. I thought she'd just be stuck in her room talking to her ex."

You frowned. "I want nothing to do with Oikawa."

Your mom looked at you with wide eyes, surprise evident in her expression. "That's a first. Have you gotten over him?"

"Why would I still be in love with someone that cheated on me?"

"You know?!" Your parents exclaimed in unison.

You nod, sitting at the table with Kenma and Kuroo on either side of you. "Tetsu told me one day."

"What?!"

"Oikawa broke into the house. He was like a whole other person. I got scared and called Tetsu for help. While Oikawa was trying to get me to go with him, Tetsu told me everything."

Your dad's face contorted with rage. "That bastard did what?! First, he cheats on my daughter, then he breaks into my house while I'm gone to try something with the girl he cheated on?! I'll kill him!"

Your mother put her hands on his shoulders. "Calm down, dear. Y/n's safe now and will never go back to him."

Tetsu leaned closer to you, whispering in your ear. "Was it really a good idea to say that?"

"They needed to know. It wouldn't be fair to keep Oikawa breaking in and coming after me a secret from them. They're my parents. I love them and feel it's better to be completely honest with them."

Your dad had finally calmed down, now turning to look at you and your two friends. "Anyways, thank you for helping her out, Tetsurou. I appreciate it."

Kuroo chuckled quietly. "It was nothing. She's a good friend, and I'll always be willing to do anything for her."

"How sweet." Your mom gave him a warm smile.

You and Kenma remained quiet, occasionally exchanging glances at each other. For the most part, you two were silent and just ate dinner.

Your parents, however, kept a conversation with Kuroo going.

"Tetsurou-kun, do you watch over Y/n in school?"

The third year blushed slightly, flustered by the sudden question. "Um... yes. I always keep an eye on Y/n, j-just to make sure she's alright."

Your father took a mental note of the pink tint on the boy's cheeks. "So, Tetsurou, what are your plans for after high school - since you're a third year, after all?"

Kuroo sat straight, slightly tense. "I hadn't really decided on anything quite yet. I know I want to be involved with volleyball, even after graduating high school. I know I want to go to college. But, other than that, I'm not too sure about what I want to do in the future. It's not easy to be able to become a professional volleyball player. I'd rather have a good job with steady income."

Your dad beamed at him. "This one's got a good head on his shoulders. Y/n, take note."

You look up, quirking a brow. "Why's that?"

"Tetsurou thinks logically about his future. You need to start planning for your own. And think about it seriously, think about all options."

"I still have another year."

"Not with this year difference. You should be thinking of forming a relationship with Tetsurou."

You turned red. "Dad!"
