Atsushi carefully opened his eyes to see Lev's room. 'When did I...?' He thought. Then the door opened and both Fyodor with Lev was there. Atsushi struggled. "Atsushi! You alright? Nothing hurts?!" Fyodor asks his adopted son. Atsushi wasn't sure what to say, he wasn't used to this kind of treatment.
"I-I-I'm fine, Fyodor-san...." Atsushi finally said it. Fyodor wanted to say something about what Atsushi called him but decided to let him take time to get used.
"I see. I'm relieved..." Fyodor said.
A month later
"Saint Petersburg?" Atsushi said. "Yes, I thought to have a small nice vacation to the ex-capital of the Russian Empire. With all of the members!" Lev said. Three men only smiled as they one by one appeared.
Fyodor was far from the class that Atsushi has. "That means you too Fyodor," Lev said. Fyodor only sighed. Atsushi was silent. "Oh, I will feed you with a lot of piroshki! All types of them!" Nikolai said. Atsushi only looked at him.
"Clown, stop that," Lev said. Nikolai only became sad. "You can't force Atsushi on what he will eat. Let him get used to Russian culture now before he will accept it." Lev said. "He has already been living here a month!" Ivan said.
"I actually..." Atsushi spoke out for the fight could stop. "Yes, Atsushi," Lev said. "I want a kitten...." He said.
Silence appeared.
"A kitten?" Ivan asks. Atsushi only blushed.
'Why did I even say such a thing?! I don't know anything of Russian culture but I just wanted them to not fight about me!' Atsushi thought.
"Um, no! Forget it! I actually want to see Saint Petersburg..." Atsushi said. Soon Fyodor closed the book and walked out of the library. "Dostoy?" Nikolai called his boss. But Fyodor ignored it.
A week later
Train
Atsushi was looking at nature through the window. Both Ivan and Alexander were sleeping. Lev was reading a book, Nikolai being Nikolai.
"Hey Atsushi, look." Nikolai showed a magic trick. Atsushi only looked at him. "Hm? What?" Nikolai asks. "It's nothing." He said. "Why are you so gloomy?" Nikolai asks. "I'm still tired. To be honest, I'm not a morning person like you, Gogol..." Atsushi said.
Nikolai's smile began to disappear. Atsushi only began to have bad feelings. "I mean Nikolai! Nikolai!" Atsushi corrected himself. "Nah, call me whatever you want. Clown, Gogol, Nikolai, Kolya. I don't care." Nikolai said.
"To be honest, I also am not a morning person," Nikolai said. "You aren't?" Atsushi said. "Nope, I just like to do magic tricks. That's what makes me awake all day." Nikolai said as he looked at the cards.
"I remember I played a lot with cards back in the orphanage. And the Joker card, it's my favorite." Atsushi said.
"Joker? Why?" Nikolai asks as he took the Joker card. "Well, it is a strong card. And it means nothing. But you can beat with this card everything. So this is why it is my favorite." Atsushi said.
Nikolai smiled. He wrapped his arm around Atsushi and pressed him to his body. To be his pillow.
"You said you aren't a morning person. Maybe you take a nap? And we will be in Petersburg in about 3 hours." Nikolai said. Atsushi smiled, and he made himself comfortable to sleep.
Then Nikolai also fell asleep.
Lev looked at these two and smiled.
"Let me free!" A female voice screamed inside Tolstoy's head.
