Family time

Atsushi was relaxing in his apartment with Fedora on his chest. He got a few days off because of a meeting with his biological mother and a sudden slap from her. But soon a calico was on the open window. Atsushi only looked at the cat.

Restaurant

"Thanks for coming," Natsume said. "I thought you wanted my father to come with me," Atsushi said. "I mostly want to talk with you alone before talking with Fyodor," Natsume said. 

Atsushi wasn't sure of what to say. "Say." Atsushi looked up at his grandfather. "How is it with Fyodor may I ask," Natsume asks. "Well, I'm not sure how to say it. But it's pretty nice. My father always listens to me and my sister, and he sometimes gives us his free time." Atsushi began to say positive things about Fyodor.

Natsume only began to envy Fyodor. "And he was watching over us to not say something inappropriate," Atsushi said as he held the tea. "Like, words?" Natsume asks.

"Yea, that's right," Atsushi said. Natsume smiled.

"What about your sister? Is she Fyodor's biological daughter?" Natsume asks. "Hm? No. She isn't. But he treats her fairly." Atsushi said. "I see. Tell me, what do you two likes?" Natsume asks.

Evening

Atsushi's apartment 

Kyouka was playing around with Fedora while others from Rats in the House of the Dead were doing other things. But then the door opened. Nikolai ran and saw Atsushi. "Atsushi, are you ok?" He asks.

"Yea, me and my grandfather didn't meet my biological mother," Atsushi said. Nikolai sighed with relief. "Phew, that's good." He said. Soon Atsushi took off his shoes and walked to Kyouka. "What did you buy?" Kyouka asks as she noticed the bag. "It is from Natsume," Atsushi said as he was searching in the bag.

Then he took a box with hydrangeas flowers on top of the box. Kyouka was shocked and carefully took it. "He asked what you liked and he bought this," Atsushi said. 

Nikolai leaned towards them as Kyouka opened. There was a lot of jewelry. "I can't accept this! I just can't make him buy this jewelry!" She said. "Woah woah! Slow down. The jewelry isn't from Natsume if you ask me...." Atsushi said. 

"Not, from him...?" She looked up. "We bumped into Kouyou-san, and she asked us to place them in the box. She said they were meant for you in each birthday's presents before our father adopted you..." Atsushi said. 

Nikolai was shocked. Kyouka only looked at the jewelry. 

The next day

Park

Kouyou was in the park as she was reading a book. Then someone placed a box next to her. She looked at the box, then at the person who placed the box. She was surprised to see Kyouka. "When did you return from Russia...?" She asks. 

"We not long time ago, for Atsushi's health being. And, I want to return." Kyouka said. Kouyou closed the book she was reading and placed it away. Then she carefully took the box and opened it. There was the same jewelry that she gave to Atsushi.

She looked at Kyouka.

"But, I kept them for you my dear..." Kouyou said. Kyouka shook her head. "I just don't need them..." Kyouka said. Kouyou was silent. Then she placed the box and stood up. She later held Kyouka's face.

"Kyouka, I'm certain to give you these gifts. And if you are worried about me, then don't worry. My finances are alright since I work in the Mafia. And I don't need to worry so much with my finances." Kouyou said. Kyouka only looked down.

"So, I gave you them as a gift. Don't worry." Kouyou said. Then Kyouka hugged Kouyou. Kouyou only smiled and patted Kyouka's head.

Then Atsushi appeared on the scene.

Kouyou only looked at him. "You watched us?" She asks. "I only looked after my younger sister," Atsushi said. Kouyou only shook her shoulders.

Cafe

"Is there any reason for you to invite me here?" Fyodor asks. "It is. It's about Atsushi and a dark past of his." Natsume said as he held his cup of tea. "What can it be that you know the dark past of Atsushi? You didn't know about Atsushi's existence until three days ago." Fyodor said.

"It is something else," Natsume said annoyedly.

"Listen, my son, Aoi is Atsushi's biological father. And Aoi sold human organs with his wife to the black market." Natsume said. "Humans organs selling? That is illegal." Fyodor said.

"And as I was in my calico cat form, the buyers always mention that the organs looked like kids' ones. And as Kairi said Atsushi is my grandson, I connected the dots." Natsume said. 

"I don't see any logic. How can Atsushi be alive if 'Aoi' took his organs?" Fyodor said. "Atsushi's ability is transforming into a white tiger. And as the white tiger heals the wounds, it can also bring back loosened body parts. If Atsushi's organs were taken away, that means they were brought back by the ability." Natsume said.

Fyodor was shocked by Natsume's words.

"You mean..." Fyodor looked down. "That is all correct," Natsume said.

But soon Fyodor stood up and dragged Natsume away. Then their place exploded. 

The people began to scream and run away. Natsume was shocked, but Fyodor looked up to one of the roofs of the high buildings. And there he saw a silhouette of a person through the smoke.

Fyodor only smirked. "I didn't think to see a Scandinavian here," Fyodor said.
