The sounds of the bird tweeted outside the window as I opened my eyes. I sat up on the edge of the bed with my hands on my knees and head low.
"Riley, I made you some warm soup. It's your favorite." He said as he walked into the room rubbing my back as he saw me. "Thanks..."
"Are you okay? You seem to be more out of it than usual..."
"I guess, I don't really remember much..."
"Don't be so pathetic Riley."I quietly ate the soup as he watched over me. My eyes felt heavy...why do I feel so, out of it?
"What did you put in this soup?" My vision clouded like the skies on a stormy day. Eventually, the sun didn't shine in my eyes anymore.-
"What about her?"
"You keep drugging her with this shit! Liam, she's your girlfriend."
"She's fine ok! Stop worrying about her and just get me something for her."
"What do you need now?"
"Something to keep her relaxed, nothing too crazy since you're so worried."
"I'll think about..."I looked at him and shook my head as he left out. Riley laid sound asleep upstairs in the bedroom as I worked on my computer. "Liam..."
I heard soft cries coming from upstairs, so I got up to tend to her needs.
"Liam, I feel sick...I don't know what's wrong me and I feel like I can't remember anything anymore."
"You're just running a fever, you're okay." I smiled looking her in the eyes.Liam covered her body with the blanket as she drifted off to sleep. He leaned down placing a kiss on her head. His hearted pounded as he couldn't help but be excited for the next drug to arrive...
"We'll have a lot more fun together this way."
But, things were not always this way for the two of them.
