BBQ

It has been a week since that night happened and I sigh looking at the extra money we had given me that night, he had already agreed to double the money and then gave me another $200.00 for the troubles his employee caused that night. I couldn't take the extra money he gave me, so I stood up walking out to find Sara since it was time to get ready for these evenings shift. 

A--"Hey Sara can you give this back to your brother when you see him next tell him that I didn't need any extra money for the other night." 

S--"Actually I really need to ask you something."

A--"Go ahead"

S--"Well me and my brother are having the annual BBQ at his home, and I really don't want to miss it, is there any way I could get the night off?" I thought about it for five or ten minutes when I finally said, 

A--"Okay I really need a break anyways, but can you give this to your brother when you see him soon?" 

S--"Nope" 

A--"Why?"

S--"Because you are, you and Liam are coming with me to our annual BBQ!" 

A--"I don't think that is a good idea." 

S--"Oh come on, it will be fun." I sigh and nod anyways and told her. 

A--"Fine but you going to have to watch Liam while I go change really quick" she nods jumping up and down in excitement. When I reached my small portion of my closet, I grabbed out a light blue sundress with white small flowers on it sliding it on, throwing on the small necklace my mom and dad got me for my seventeenth birthday, then I walk over and pick up my wedges and I walk to my bed placing them on my feet before standing up grabbing my hairbrush and brushed through it really fast before pinning back the front two pieces and then I was done. I walked down and I was met with Sara coloring with Liam, 

S--"I love your outfit." 

A--" Thank you."

S--"Welcome now let's get this show on the road." I bend down and pick Liam up and he just stares at me, 

L--"Pretty"

A--"Thank you honey" he smiles at me. We get in the car and Sara gives me the directions as we go down the road, and I find out that he doesn't live that far away from me. When we pulled up at the house it was huge for one and there were so many motorcycles or what I call them bikes. As we were walking up, I passed a bike that looked just like my dad and as I was staring at it, I heard a voice behind me, 

G--"Do you like bikes?" 

A--"I-I u-umm, have you had this long?" 

G--"A few years now, my mom got me it for my birthday" I nod, and I wipe the tear that escaped my eye, and he walks around it on the opposite side and looked at me, 

G--"What is wrong?" 

A--"Can I meet your mother? And where is Liam?" 

G--"Yes you can, and Sara has him around back by the grill or inside helping in there" I nod my head, 

G--"Follow me I will take you to my mom." he leads me in the beautiful house he lives in, and I was in awe of this place as we entered the kitchen Grayson said, 

G--"Mom Sara's friend would like to meet you." as soon as he moved and gave me a view of her, I knew that was indeed my dad's bike I hear her gasp, 

A--"Has he taken care of it?"

V--"Oh honey he has taken the best of care of it, come here and give me a hug" I walked over to her, and she embraced me into a tight hug, 

S--"Do you know what is happening?"

G--"No clue" we pulled back and smiled, 

V--"The bike you ride on, and your birthday present a few years ago I bought off of Addison here" I looked up and I see Sara and Grayson looking at me shocked, 

A--"It was my father's he had passed away but I needed money for supplies for the baby I was about to have to raise on my own so I sold it, told violet to give it to somebody that would cherish it as it was always theirs." 

V--"It is such a small world, when I saw the listing I knew I had to but it because well like I told you back when I bought it me and your guys dad who is not here today he is conducting business right now, we were all best friends in high school up until they passed away, we are going to have to have you and come over and eat dinner when my husband gets back" I nod while saying,

A--"I would love that" I smiled then Liam said from where he had been coloring at the table,

L--"Mommy I am hungry."

A--"We will go get something to eat in a minute but come over here for a second please" he puts his crayon down and walks over to me showing the biggest smile he could make, I bend down and pick him up putting him on my hip,

A--"Honey, I would like you to meet Violet, she is Sara's mommy, and she is very close my mommy's, mom and dad" he nods and says a shy,

L--"Hi"

V--"Well hello there Liam you can call me Aunt v, okay?" He nods enthusiastically and I then pointed to Grayson,

A--"That is Sara's brother Grayson do you remember him?" He nods with a smile,

L--"Guy from store"

A--"Yes he was at the store."

V--"Alright well let's get this cutie something to eat follow me Addison" she leads me through the house and when we get go out the sliding doors I see a lot of people,

A--"Sara you didn't say that there were this many people."

S--"Yeah, I might have left that out don't worry you will be with us at our table" we all follow Violet, and she motions for me to follow her after sitting Liam down and on a chair and asking him really quick,

A--"What would you like?" And all I got was a shrug and so me and Violet went to the food line and I got a pate putting a small scoop of potato salad, small scoop of cottage cheese, small scoop of pasta salad,  I got him a hot dog, and I grabbed some juice for him and we both walked back to the table and I sit down in between Liam and Sara Grayson was on the opposite side of Liam that leave Violet on the other side of Sara.

Everyone got their food and while I am still cutting up stuff a little small for Liam,

G--"Go get your food before it gets cold, I can finish cutting it up."

A--"I um, I am fine" I smile but really myself conscious brain say not to eat in front of this many people, he get up from the table and walks off and I don't bother watching where he is going and I help Liam take a drink from the cup and then he gets back to eating when a plate is sat in front of me and I look at everyone and they looked shocked and when I looked at Grayson who is sitting back down and I blush,

A--"Thank you"

G--"Your welcome" after that I blushed every time, I looked at Grayson or he looked at me, but me and Liam both had a good day which is all that matters!
