Will You?

I was back working at the bar, but I am feeling really overwhelmed and lightheaded, and I am thinking maybe coming back wasn't the best idea something about this environment is triggering some memories.

I have decided to prolong my therapy for a couple more weeks and she said to try and go back to work if it is not a stressful environment, and I might have lied, and I am regretting it.

I felt a hand touch my shoulder and I jumped turning around and closing my eyes.

G--"Hey are you okay?"

A--"I-I umm can we go somewhere quiet for just a second?" I looked over at Sara,

A--"Will you be fine by yourself?"

S--"Yes go take a break we are closing up the bar in fifteen minutes anyways" I nod and I let Grayson guide me somewhere else and when we arrive at a door down the hallway we walk into his office and I immediately sit down and do my breathing exercises that my therapist told me to do and I tug on each of my fingers then I am calmed down, and I look up and say,

A--"I am sorry."

G--"Your fine love, what triggered it?"

A--"My therapist told me in my last session that I could try and go back to work as long as my work environment wasn't stressful, and I may have lied so I could get back to normal" I looked away from him and he sits down beside me on his leather couch in his office.

G--"You can go the pace that you need to, working in a loud bar is stressful and you don't need that, you don't need to be working at a bar anyways."

A--"I can't live in your house and not work though; I don't want people to think I am using you and I don't want you to think that either."

G--"I would never think that as a matter of fact you are here by fired" he smirks and my face loses all color and my mouth drops open and he says,

G--"Come on love close your mouth before you get flies in it" I close my mouth,

A--"You can't do this Gray I need this job" he groans,

G--"I love when you call me Gray, and I did do it that is the perks of dating your boss, now let's go I have a surprise for you."

A--"Nope I refuse to go, you fire me, and you get me a surprise, nope not happening" he smirks once again and says,

G--"We can do this the easy or the hard way, the easy way is we hold hands and walk down the stairs or the hard way which is I throw you over my shoulder and carry you out to my bike."

A--"You wouldn't do that, especially in front of your men down stairs."

G--"I wouldn't?" He asked while walking towards me then bends down and wraps his arms underneath my thighs and I quickly say,

A--"Okay, okay I believe you I will take the easy way" he stands up and offers me a hand and I take it. He helps me up off the couch and we make our way down the stairs where we are met with nobody there, well other than the ones on night shift guard duty.

We walked out of the bar, and I see that we are walking towards his bike and when we get there he climbs on, and he offers a hand to help steady me which I take. When I was on and settled with my helmet on and arms around his waist, we took off. I loved the feeling of riding on a bike it makes me feel free, maybe I should get my own?

We pulled up to the back of my now bakery once again and once he had turned off his bike, getting off then helping me off also. I took off my helmet and sat it down on the bike next to his and he said,

G--"Don't ask me any questions you will soon find out" I glared at him because he knows me so well. I follow him in, and we are meet with pitch dark,

G--"I need you to close your eyes, okay? Promise me you will keep them closed and no peeking" I sigh,

A--"Okay, I promise" I heard rustling around and then suddenly it was quiet until he let out a deep breath and him saying,

G--"Open your eyes" I open my eyes and my hand immediately flies up to my mouth and a gasp leaving my mouth. There were bouquets of orange and white roses everywhere which were my favorite flowers and colors of flowers, I walked down the small walkway made out of flowers and I see candles lit everywhere,

A--"It's beautiful"

G--"Not as beautiful as you are" he reaches over grabbing my hand and continued talking,

G--"If you remember this is where we first met, you asked me what I wanted to drink and ever since that night I couldn't get you out of my mind. Before you and Liam came into my life I was kind of a wreck not in front of everyone but inside I was tired of being lonely or just being used by women that just wanted power." He smiled then continued,

G--"You gave me happiness then, and. You give me happiness now, and I know we haven't been dating officially for as long as some couples but I can't see my life without you and Liam in it, all I can see is a future with the love of my life and the boy that will hopefully be okay with calling me dad one day, so will you Addison Brown make me the happiest man in the entire world and marry me?"

I smiled so big that it hurt my face and my eyes are watering and I nodded my head saying yes repeatedly, he quickly pulled out the ring placing it on my finger and I wrapped my arms around his neck kissing him with everything I have. I jumped pulling away from the kiss when I heard clapping from beside us and I saw Violet, who is holding Liam, Colton, Sara, Lars, and Trey which it brings tears to my eyes seeing how much joy they are showing that I will be marrying Grayson the man that I love.

V--"Congratulations to the both of you, I am so glad and proud to call you my daughter in law"

C--"I second that statement" we all laugh and I walked over getting Liam and walking back over to Grayson and I wrap my free arm around his waist which he returns, and we just look at his well our family talking, joking, and congratulating us.
