Dinner With the Jones's pt. 2

When we all sit down and get comfortable, she sighs and looks at her watch.

V--"Grayson what do you have your father doing now?"

G--"Just some business really quick he should be home soon I promise for now we can wait if you guys are okay with that?" We all nod but Liam,

V--"Honey you can go ahead and eat if you want" I grabbed some of her lemon seasoned chicken and cut it up in pieces, then grabbed some of the buttered potato placing them on the plate, then put some of the brown sugar carrots on his plate too that is when I noticed Violet placing apple juice by his plate,

L--"Thank you aunt v, and mommy."

V--"Your welcome"

A--"Your welcome honey" as Liam was eating, we heard the front door open and footsteps coming closer and when he opened the door up, I saw a look alike to Grayson just a lot older looking, the only thing they didn't share was the color of eyes, where he had his mom's eyes and everything else is his dad's.

C--"Sorry I am late for dinner, I had some trouble with the shipment" he looks at me then to Liam and said,

C--"You look just like your mom but with your dad's hair color" I nod while smiling and he gives me a big one back while sitting then offering me a hand,

C--"I am Colton, I am Sara and Grayson's dad."

A--"It is nice to meet you, I am Addison, and this is Liam he is my son."

L--"Hi" he gave a small wave then looked back down at his plate and continued eating and shook my head a little smiling.

C--"Everyone dig in please" we all got our food and after a little while of eating Colton asked me a question,

C--"So tell me Addison where is your boyfriend or husband?" I claimed up a bit but then answered with a simple,

A--"Oh I am a single mother."

C--"Oh I am sorry."

A--"No your fine, we just had some issues... after my mom and dad found out they were coming over to get me and my things but on the way over they had wrecked and passed away, then I decided to get out of the situation for my baby and then I have been raising him alone."

C--"Well that is great do you mind me asking who your ex is?" I thought about it for a while but then ended up thinking who would really know him at the table since he went to the school a town over, 

A--"Kenny Smith, we dated in high school, he went to school in the town over and when we graduated together we got a place together, after a lot of umm... well after a bit of trouble went on between us I left him two years later when I found out I was pregnant at twenty and that also like I said before that is how my parents died they were rushing over to get me and confront him when they hit black ice and then wrecked, ever since then I have been working at the bar I own which previously was owned by my parents and that is also where I live mine and Liams home is in the apartment above the bar." I realized when I stopped talking, I just told my whole life story and I shake my head looking down at my food which I have barely eaten and have lost my appetite. I quickly look back up and at everyone and I see them all looking shocked at me except for Sara she knew everything that went on and I said, 

A--"I am sorry I didn't mean to lay this all on you." 

G--"Your ex is Kenny Smith?" I looked over at him and see the dark look showing all over his face and I slowly nod, and he slams his hands on the table practically fuming, he got up from the table and walked out of the room I felt tears well up for some reason mad at myself for making him so upset, 

A--"I didn't mean to make him upset."

C--"I think it is time we tell you what we all do for a living, well except for Sara of course she is a part of it, but she mainly works at the bar."

V--"How about we retire to the living room?" 

S--"Good idea mom lets go in there" we all get up and walk into the living room where we find Grayson with a glass of scotch. Everyone sits down and the only seat that is available is right in between Grayson and Sara, and I walk over and sit down. My knee bounces up and down when Grayson downs his drink and gets up from beside me and I look down at my lap thinking I really made him mad, but he comes back seconds later with another glass of scotch.

C--"So let's start off with what we do for a living. We are a Motorcycle gang; we distribute guns for our benefit and our buyers. We also transport drugs to the higher ups but none of our gang is allowed to do any kind of drugs it would make us look bad" I nod and process what he has just told me, and I looked back up nodding my head at him for him to continue. 

C--"Your parents were a part of the gang when I was president of the gang but a year before they had passed the role was handed over to Grayson, who is now the president, Trent is Vice president, while Lars is the third in line, he can do everything the other two can. In a gang there is also another term, when you have a girlfriend, fiancé, wife we call them our old ladies." I nod my head and I ask, 

A--"O-okay I get all of that, but I still don't understand why did he g-get mad at me?"

G--"I got mad at the name you said not at you, I don't think I could be mad at you, Kenny is our enemy I don't know if you know this but within the last couple years, he has started up a half ass biker gang and has been causing us trouble." I nod slowly and looked at Liam who was sleeping on Sara's lap and I felt a tear go down my cheek, 

A--"Well I am so sorry that he is causing you guys trouble" nobody said anything, 

V--"Why don't you guys just sleep over here for the night since he is already asleep, and you look extremely tired." I nod my head after a while of thinking about it,

S--"I'll take him up to the spare room."

A--"Thank you" She smiled and started walking up the stairs,

V--"Well we are going up to bed too."

C--"Yes goodnight you two"

A--"Goodnight"

G--"Night" me and Grayson sat there in silence, did I have to get to bed too? I am so used to going to sleep really late from the shift I had to cover until we got this new girl and some of the nightmares I have. 

G--"I am sorry that I acted like that" I looked over at him when he had started to talk and I saw that it was painful to say sorry,

A--"You are a man that doesn't apologize very often, do you?" He looked over at me and looked at me so intense,

G--"No"

A--"You don't have to apologies to me then."

G--"Yes I do that was wrong I shouldn't gave acted like that in front of you or Liam" I smile at him, and I see him looking down at my mouth and I start getting self-conscious about my smile and I look down and bite my lip,

G--"What is wrong?

A--"Umm nothing I am just going to head into bed can you please tell me or show me which room I am going to be sleeping in?" He nods and gets up and I have to keep up with his long legs when suddenly I walked right into his back extremely hard, hard enough to knock me down on the ground when I looked up, I was bright red,

A--"I am sorry I didn't mean to run into you" he just gave me a small smirk before walking towards me and picks me up bridal style, I started to thrash and kept saying put me down, put me down but only did he listen to me whispering it close to his ear,

A--"Please put me down" my voice sounded so weak I hated that, he stopped and looked down at me and he slowly placed me down on the floor and he tilted my face up and wiped on both sides of my face,

G--"Never cry about something I did, your room is right here" he pointed to the door right beside us and I walked towards the door and opened it thinking about turning and saying something but decide against it and close the door walking to the amazing bed I am going to use for tonight and fall on it curling up in the huge comfortable comforter they had and fall asleep after thinking about what just happened in the hallway.
