"i don't recognise you anymore."

Alice sits next to Monty as they wait for the others return. They left to explore the explosion, seeing if there were any survivors or any resources they could use. Monty is making small talk with Alice, teasing her about the other night after witnessing her and Bellamy dancing together.

Alice puts her hand over Montys mouth as she notices Octavia walking their way. Alice smiles at her, her cheeks burning from embarrassment. "Hey Octavia."

Monty licks Alices hand making her move it away in disgust, instantly wiping her hand on her shirt. Octavia looks at the two, confused. "Hey guys."

Monty looks at Octavia, asking her a question."Hey. Any sign of your brother or the others yet?"

"Hey. I don't care." Octavia responds, staring off at something in the distance. Monty and Alice follow her eyes. Noticing Jasper as he tells the story of the first day on the ground. Alice, Monty and Octavia make sly comments about his rendition of the story.

They observe Jasper watching him intently as the others eagerly listen to the story. Octavia goes up to stop Jaspers story but Monty stops her, wanting Jasper to have his moment.

"Look at him. Our boys a folk hero." Monty explains to her as they watch him smiling and interacting with the other. It brought a smile to Alices face, glad the boy was happy again.

"They even gave us a bigger tent." Monty says happily as he turns to Alice, giving her a fist bump.

"Yeah they did!" Alice responds laughing.

"Somebody hit the trip wire!" Someone yells. The gunners immediately take out their guns, aiming them outside of the gate. One of them shoot, seemingly hitting whoever was outside. Octavia runs away, mentioning the ground they had hostage before.

The guys and Octavia came back, carrying someone inside with them. Murphy. His body is covered in blood and cuts, he looks awful. Alice almost sympathies with Murphy. Almost. He's still an asshole.

Alice and Monty look at each other, having the same expression on their faces. They are expecting the worst, knowing the grounders could've followed him here.

Alice lays on the makeshift bed next to Montys. They are both resting their eyes, trying to fall asleep. They hear a rustling noise as someone walks into their tent.

The two listen as Harper tries to strike up a conversation with Jasper, who keeps rejecting her offers. Harper leaves the tent feeling disappointed, Alice can't help but feel bad for the girl.

"Are you kidding me? That was there for the taking" Monty says as he sits up, looking at Jasper. Alice immediately gets up, wanting to join in on the conversation.

"Harper? She's low-hanging fruit." Jasper responds.

Alices eyebrows cross together, annoyed at Jaspers statement. She crosses her arms, "Don't talk about her like that. She's a really sweet girl if you actually take the time get to know her."

Jasper scoffs, shaking his head at Alice. Monty chimes in again, "Don't tell me you're still holding out for Octavia."

Jasper tries to leave but Monty continues to talk to him, trying to encourage him to move on. "Jasper, Octavia is not gonna happen. She likes her grounders alive." Monty doesn't mean anything bad by it. It's the truth.

"Go float yourself, Monty." Jasper tells Monty. Alice gets frustrated at Jaspers behaviour, Monty has done nothing but support Jasper this whole time, being there for him 24/7. Jasper took it too far this time, hurting Montys feelings. Which hurt Alices feelings.
