Cathys POV

We finally made it back to the hotel, with a super fast car with Amish men chasing us. I did some brain-researching and found out that the family was stuck in a grandfather paradox. So somebody killed their mothers along with other 20 females the same day they were meant to be born. I could always use my powers to search for the person's name but, I did not want to, cause it was really interesting and exciting to find it out the normal way.

I was not surprised, some of the people in the Commission messed up like this a lot, and ended up murdering themselves. I was cut off from my thoughts when Five pulled me from the wrist to the bar. I tried to yank my wrist back but his grip tightened.

"You know if you continue pulling me, there is a 79% chance that you might not have fingers in a few seconds," I suggested.

"Sorry," he said as he let go of my wrist and let me heal my bruised wrist, he jogged up to the island and started collecting people.

"Gather around! Where is—Where's every—Where's Luther?" He asked his siblings, I was interested because Luther is number one, he should be in every important meeting.

So, I tried to look him up. Bad idea, I searched it up to see him kissing Number Five, Sloane. They were floating in the air, probably because they don't want Fei whose probably reading in her room to find out, clever.

I almost gagged on my drink that I summoned a few minutes ago. Keyword: almost. I caught attention from everybody but I shrugged it off. I jumped onto the ceiling and nestled in. Ah! I haven't done this in so long! I thought. Everybody was staring at me.

"What?" I asked them.

"You have your powers back!" Diego exclaimed like he just did rocket science.

"Yup!" I said as I gestured to my plain wrist, "But, I won't kill you guys yet,"

I jumped back down onto the island, and sat down on the chair next to Allison. Allison was a bit mad at me and I felt it.

"We have bigger problems to be dealing with," Five said before I could apologize to Allison for going out with the boys.

"Like what?" Allison said annoyed as he interrupted my soon to come apology.

"This!" He said as he laid the book on the table, showing them pictures of all the mothers.

"Who are they?" Viktor asked as he peered at the book, interested.

"You guys mother," I replied.

"They're all dead. They all died on the exact same date, October 1rst 1989,"

"Our birthday!" Viktor exclaimed.

"No, they died before any of you were born," I answered as I teleported behind Viktor.

"How is that possible? If we weren't born, how do we exist?" Diego said as I looked at him and rolled my eyes.

"It's because you love screwing the timeline up!" I said as I stared into diego's eyes.

"Exactly," Five replied.

"You too!" I said.

"What are you saying?" Viktor asked Five but he rolled his eyes so I stabbed his ankle with my heel.

"He's attempting or failing to tell you that you have created a paradox, not any kind of paradox, guys! The Grandfather paradox!" I explained while maintaining eye contact with Five.

"What the hell is a grandfather paradox?" Klaus asked me.

"I would explain it, but your mortal human brain might not be able to process it," I told them as I began to project a video from the Commission. I had watched this video with Lila so many times, so I zoomed out. I had to apologize to Allison. I made out a basic apology. 'I'm sorry Allison I just went with the boys because I was getting a free drink!" What was I about to say? I needed to be genuine with her.

I supposedly zoomed out a bit more than I thought I did. I didn't realize until somebody put a hand on my shoulder, I jumped at the contact. I looked to see it was Five. He pointed at my projector, it was of me and Lila when we were ten we were throwing shoes at each other. We were pissed off at each other so, I threw the thing that was closest to me which happened to be a shoe. I was scraped Lila with a 1 inch deep cut with a heel that day. She gave me a bruise on my forearm. I was about to blow her to bits with my powers until The Handlers bursted in. I closed the projector as I muttered an apology, not making eye contact with anybody.

As I felt Five smirk and Diego laugh along with his siblings. I stuck onto the ceiling, climbing upstairs. But, before I left eyesight I portaled Allison onto the couch upstairs.

"Allison! I'm so sorry!" I started

"It's fine, I was just a bit worried!" Allison said, as she put her hands onto her lap.

Little did she know, I was an empath, I knew every single lie and she was a really bad liar.

I tried to change the topic, taking a seat next to Allison, "How was sparring with Diego?" I asked.

"Pretty good! Broke a lot of sweat!" She told me.

"We should do it together later!" I told her again. I felt guilt regret building in my stomach but brushed it off.

"Sure!" She said but I could, she was weighing on saying something else, after a second hesitation she said, "Are you going home?"

"Yeah," I said but, regretted it as her face faltered, "But, there's an 87% that Five's going to ask me for a favor, so, I'll see you,"

"Okay!" She said her face was bright.

"I'm going now," I said.

"See you soon," she waved, I waved back as I floated out of the hotel, ready to go home.
