You slowly stirred from your sleep, cracking your eyes open groggily to see that you had woken up...still possessing the tiny yellow jelly body. What a mouthful! You wondered if you were stuck like this now, or if you could shift between forms at will.

At the moment, you were stuck in your smaller form, but it didn't really bother you. Being able to float and defy gravity was incredibly fun. You did want to find a way to turn back, though. You wanted to be like those guys on television and have a secret magic form. Well...maybe it wasn't exactly a secret anymore since your hilichurl friends have already seen you, but still. You wondered how they'd react if you switched back to your human form

...Now that you really thought about it, though, you had yet to see an actual human person. Did they even exist at this point?

"Well...I guess I have to do something to make me un-jellify, like how I jumped to change my body," You spoke to yourself as you shifted on your little makeshift bed. Yep, even as a floating spirit creature, you found that exhaustion still affected you, and you'd have to find someplace to sleep for the rest of the night. You planned to sleep on the grass, but it seemed your new friend—Mister Goblin—had other ideas.

Now you were swaddled up in a tattered red cloth, and placed amidst a bed of hay. Your new friends slept off to the side, their wooden shields and bats sprawled out onto the ground in a messy heap.

Mister Goblin was sleeping right beside your sleeping arrangements, though. And unlike the others, his weapons were in his hands—was he guarding you overnight? Your heart swelled at the thought. You saw the hilichurl begin to shift into consciousness, and you took this as an opportunity to give him your thanks.

"Thank you, Mister Goblin!" You babbled, rising up to gently butt your head against its mask. It perked up, seemingly staring at you in awe.

You then felt it butt its own head against yours, and you heard happy sounds emit from the little guy. "Olah!"

"Yes, olah!" Your response was quick, having picked up on the greetings with a giggle. "What are we gonna do today, Mister Goblin?"

The hilichurl picked you up gently, cradling your small form in his hands as he waddled over to his friends. They, too, were beginning to stir, some already beginning to play around. Particularly the younger ones, as they chased each other around their camp.

You stared curiously at their actions, the urge to join them building up in your chest as you continued to watch. You felt the arms around you loosen, causing you to look up.

"Yo muhe domu?" [You want to dance?] Your friend would ask with a tilt of his head, looking down to gauge your reaction. Now this time, you had no clue as to what he was saying, but since it sounded like a question...you just nodded your head.

It seemed that he understood your motions, because he'd finally let go of you. But, before he did, you felt a gentle weight on your head—he was giving you headpats. "Domu!" [Dance!]

You beamed at his approval, your form glowing a little brighter as you zoomed off towards the dancing babychurls (you decided five seconds ago that you'd call them that). At the sight of your presence, you could hear excited shouts come from the tiny creatures.

They dragged you along in their dance, grabbing onto your stubby arms and tugging you along to their singing. With your lack of certain limbs, you weren't able to properly dance like they did, but your little spins in the air were enough for the babychurls as they clapped excitedly.

"Kucha tomo!" [Small friend!] You heard one of them call out, holding up what seemed to be a small yellow flower up towards you. When you leaned closer to its yellow petals, you could catch a whiff of sweetness coming from it.
