There are five crucial pieces in chess.
The king, queen, bishop, knight and rook.
A long time ago I once had my very own set of pieces to play the game with. But through the test of time and the flames of war, I lost those pieces.
The king, queen and knight are no more.
The bishop was taken from me.
And the rook. The rook was locked away, kept out of my sight, never to be seen again.
Now the time has come, where I must find a new set of pieces to fight this next battle.
The past leaves ripples that eventually become the biggest waves that crash upon the shoreline of the future.
But what's coming isn't just a wave.
It's something that will leave the world submerged if it isn't stopped.
It is my duty to stop what's coming. And I will make sure this world is saved.
This is the story of the young man chosen to be the king. The one that will eventually save this world, but until then, there is still much for him to learn and go through.
The paths open to him are vast and I can only pray that he walks down the right ones.
But before he finds his true destiny, he must first find himself.
