1. A New Life in Gotham

SOPHIA HAD JUST GOTTEN OFF the phone with her older sister, Caitlin Snow. She had just arrived at the new apartment she had bought in Gotham City.

Sophia had bought a Studio apartment right in the smack middle of Gotham. She has heard rumors about Batman and Robin, but never believed that they were true.

Sophia slowly brought up her boxes one by one to her apartment, she regretted not bringing her Caitlin along after she insisted she go. Sophia couldn't let her due her Ronnie and Her just getting engaged.

Sophia finally brought up the last box to her apartment, she wasn't ready to unpack just because she had to be at Gotham Police Department. She had gotten the job as the lead Biochemist, she technically should go as Dr.Snow considering her PhD but she wouldn't put her new coworkers through that.

Sophia threw on a jacket, it was a tad chilly here and a beanie. She made her way to the Gotham Police Department, with so much excitement inside of her.

when Sophia arrived she truly didn't know where to go, so she asked the nearest face she could find.

"Excuse me? Do you know where I can find the crime lab?" She tapped on the man's shoulder.

"Um yeah, Upstairs to your left. What's your name?" He asked her, his shoulders huge, his eyes were covered in bags as if never slept.

"Sophia Snow, You?" She sent him a smile which made his eyes widen just a little bit.

"Detective Dick Grayson. Pleasure to meet you." He sent her a smile and went back to work. Sophia walked upstairs to the crime lab when she saw 4 adults, all around her age. 2 Girls approached her.

"you must be the new Biochemist, Liliana Patterson and these are our partners Jayce Anderson and Amani Mitchell. We are so glad to have you here, you have your PhD? so would you prefer Dr-?" She didn't know her name yet.

"Dr. Snow or Sophia is fine, i really don't care. Just tell me how this things works and I'll be like your new bestfriend." She sent the girls a smile.

"We basically help the meat heads down there, crack the code to almost every incident in Gotham." Amani told her, looking at Jayce who hadn't got up yet.

"We also do a lot of stuff that deals with Batman and his sidekick Robin, Heard about them?" Jayce had finally spoke.

"Not a fan, I just think they are made up bedtime stories." Sophia is startled by the man who walks in.

"Detective, what can we do for you?" Liliana tries to hold in her laugh at the face Sophia is making.

"Batman and Robin being bedtime stories, how cute. I need you guys to run this evidence." The Detective told them. Sophia eventually turned around to give him a smile, it was Detective Grayson or in Sophia's eyes, Detective pretty boy.

Detective Grayson soon left after handing the packet to Liliana. "Detective Pretty Boy, he doesn't come up her much does he?" Sophia asked looking at her new colleagues.

"No, he does everything alone. He is the son of Bruce Wayne, well adopted son. Tough guy to crack, I wouldn't even try to get to know him. I dared Amani one time to ask him on a date and he walked right past her when she asked. It was the best bet made, I got $20 out of it." Liliana laughed walking over to lay out the evidence. "Looks like he wants to look into something to do with The Deaths the night of The Flying Graysons, his parents died that night." Liliana told Sophia who's eyes froze at the thought of losing her parents, she was not as close with her father as Caitlin was but her mother was a different story. "I see. Well look into it, see if we can crack the case of who did it." Sophia smiled and pulled out her computer setting it on her new desk.
