Silas Point of View

The air was thick with pulsating beats, the rhythm permeating every inch of the crowded club. I watched bodies moved in sync with the music, their energy electrifying the atmosphere. Amidst the dim lights and the haze of anticipation, I found myself immersed in a world of exhilaration and escape.

"Ohh..."

"Ouch." 

Tsaka palang siya umalis matapos akong sampalin. Narinig ko agad yung tawa ni Ludwig na papalapit sakin. "Pang-ilan nang palad yung sumampal sa pisngi mo ngayong gabi, kaibigan?" Tapos inisang tungga yung yung bote ng alak.

I ignored his question. "Why are you here? This is not so you." Asar ko sa kanya. He was really loyal to emperor Hakeem kaya palaging isang tawag lang non, susundin na agad ni Ludwig. Kaya hindi ko alam kung bakit nasa club siya rito ngayon mag-isa.

"For sure, babae rin naman dahilan nito. Let me guess..." I pretend to think and pointed at him. "Ghala?"

I knew I was right the moment his expression changes. Umiling ako. "I told you tigilan mo na. Di mo ba alam na suki 'yon sa kabilang club? Find someone else." Sabi ko kahit na alam kong di naman niya ko susundin. His unrequited love for that whore was really stupid. 

I went home after that. My gloomy emotion has been easily replaced by excitement when I noticed my Lily sleeping again on our room. Tinulak ko ang natutulog na si Matias sa gilid niya para pumalit sa pwesto, mabuti at hindi siya nagising.

I looked intently at her, tinabing ko rin ang mga hibla ng buhok niyang tumatabon sa maganda niyang mukha. Her eyelashes rest peacefully upon her cheeks, like feathery brushes that delicately paint her dreams. I trace the line of her jaw with my eyes, marveling at its sculpted perfection. Her lips, slightly parted, invite whispered secrets and stolen kisses.
