It started innocently enough, a fleeting moment of doubt as I watched her laughing with another. A pang of insecurity pierced my chest, planting the seed of jealousy within me. It grew, festering like a wound, as I began to question my own worth, fearing that I would never be enough for her.

"Ano ba Matias!? You can't just do that to Sirius! Importante siya para kay Lily!" Galit na sabi sakin ni kuya.

Sinuntok ko lang naman siya ah. It was like an accidental reaction dahil nabigla ako nong nakita ko siyang hinalikan si Lily mula sa bintana.

She's mine!

"Come on, mat. Masasaktan nanaman si Lily kapag may nasabi kang hindi maganda sa kanya. Calm down."

I glared at him. "I love her."

Lumambot ng konti ang ekspresyon niya. "I know. I do too. Kahit si Silas."

"Kung ganon, bakit wala kayong ginagawa? Hinahayaan niyo lang na magsama sila sa isang kwarto! Paano kung may balak na masama 'yon kay Lily?" I sighed, dismayadong tumingin sa kanya. "Don't call yourselves her protector."

"I said calm down! We shouldn't take her happiness away from her! Sige ituloy mo yung balak mo, tignan natin kung paano ka patutunguhan ni Lily once na malaman niya." Aniya rin, tila napipigtas na rin ang pasensya.

Tinikom ko na lang ang bibig ko.

Her care is not just a fleeting gesture, but a constant presence in my life. I am reminded of her devotion in the simplest of moments, like when she brushes a stray strand of hair from my face. It was a thoughtfulness that creates a tapestry of love.

I've been craving for that since our mother left us and the only one who could complete and fill me was Lily.

"Kahit anong gawin mo, Lily will never love you romantically. She already promised her future with me. Kaya hindi ko alam kung bakit pinipilit mo 'yang sarili mo ng pasikreto sa kanya." Sirius said with his furious eyes. "Back off."

Hindi ko alam kung pinuntahan niya ba ko para humingi ng tawad o ano. But clearly, he isn't sincere. I just smirked on his statement. "I'm not asking Lily to love me back. Kung masaya siyang tunay sa'yo, tatanggapin ko naman lahat. Pero hindi ako lalayo sa kanya gaya ng gusto mo. I'll be with her all the time... and I'm not saying sorry for that."

Tumalim ang mata niya sakin. Ano bang karapatan niyang sabihin sakin na itigil ko ang nararamdaman ko para kay Highness? he's just a bastard that she needed to take care of. 

She stared at me, crying with a mix of anger and resentment burning. How had it come to this?  Great. I had become an object of her deepest hatred. It was a twisted and painful realization, but there was no regret in myself.

"Bakit mo ko pinigilan!? Naligtas ko sana siya!" She threw punches after punches at me, tinanggap ko lahat 'yon.

I couldn't say anything.

"I hired you to be my elites for the purpose of saving Sirius! You are all useless! Umalis kayo sa harapan ko, simula ngayon wag na kayong magpapakita sakin!"

Nang hindi kami umalis sa harap niya, siya na mismo ang tumalikod at naglakad palayo samin. I wanted to shout her name, to call her back. Naiwan sakin ang mga nalilitong mga mata ng kapatid ko sa mga nangyayari.
