A/N: For this story, for anyone who has read any of my other stories, I am going to be changing the way in which I write, instead of matching Messengers, I will be writing in the way I like. This is mostly going to be based off of the movies plus a few notes to the books. Mayla PoV:
It has been almost 3 years since I last returned to Riverdale. Not long in the span of an elves' life. Though for me, it has been awhile, for I am young even among humans. I was 18 when I left, and now I am 21.
I snuck out one night, during the War of the Ring. My people were running around to get supplies ready for the battle. The final one, as many predicted. It had been 3 years since that night. It was time to return home, to bring news of the incoming invasion.
