MACUSA

"Madam! Madam Picquery!" Anastasia's dark hair was slowly changing back to its platinum color. Her eyes flashed sliver but turned purple in the semi-darkness. Several aurors where looking over the map, tracking the obscurial.

"Anastasia, I wondered where you had gotten to." Madam Picquery said, "It's on the move again." She turned to the other aurors, "Contain this or we will be exposed and it will mean war." The aurors left one by one.

"Madam, where is Graves?" Anastasia asked.

"I don't know. What got into to the two of you anyway? You used to be inseparable and now you don't even speak to him." Anastasia winced at the president's words, but she was right.

"He... Well the sec..."

"Madam President, You're needed  in the subway." The No-Maj are rallying." An auror said.

"Well come on Anastasia." The three left.

Subway -underground

"Credence, I'm not here to hurt. " Newt said getting down to the boy's level. "Can I come over to you?"

"Newt?"

"Professor Grindelwald." Newt looked up, "How on earth did you ever get wrapped up in MACUSA? I thought you were still teaching."

She gave a nod towards Credence, "They wanted the mysterious force running around killed and I got nominated a few years ago. Besides with my brother around it's good to know that someone is his equal." Anastasia sat down quietly next to Newt, "I'm going back to England. I've had just about enough of America."

"Me too. And Credence, we didn't mean to ignore you for a moment. This is Ms. Grindelwald, she can help you Credence." Newt smiled as Credence shifted and his obscurus came closer.

"Hello." Anastasia whispered softly, the black particles curled around her fingers.
"Credence!" It was Graves, "Credence, think of we could achieve together."
"No you don't." Anastasia muttered, launching an attack on him. Newt stared as Tina entered the fray as well. Credence hung over them scared and defensive.

"Credence!"
"Stasia!"

Tina and Newt glanced at each other, breathing heavily.
"Credence, I know what that woman did to you. I know that you suffered. Newt and I will protect you. This man, he is using you."

"Keep talking to him, he's listening Tina." Newt turned to Anastasia who stood shocked, "I know you and I know you're angry. We don't have to fight, not like this. This what he wants, we can't give him that." Whether Newt meant Graves or Grindelwald, she didn't know but all the same, she relented.
The aurors burst in with Madam Picquery at the head. Credence started to become defensive again.
"Anyone who harms him answers to me." said Graves. But the aurors didn't listen.
"No!" Anastasia sent up a shield charm in the hopes of blocking Credence, but it wasn't enough. "No."

"What was done here tonight was not right." said Graves.
"The obscurial was killed on my orders, Mr. Graves." Madam Picquery glanced at Anastasia who looked ready to attack. "Please don't do anything stupid." Thought the President, to Graves, "He has broken one of our most sacred laws."

"A law that has us scuttling like rats in the gutter! A law that demands that we conceal our true nature! A law that direct those under its dominion to cower in fear lest we risk discovery!" Graves said venomously. "I ask you Madam President- I ask all of you- who does this law protect? Us? Or them?" He laughed, his dark eyes cold and dangerous, "I refuse to bow down any longer."

"Aurors, I'd like to relieve Mr. Graves of his wand and escort him back..." Madam President stopped as Graves raised his wand to fend of the aurors. Anastasia nodded to Newt, who released the swooping evil. Tina confiscated Graves' wand.
"Revelio." Newt said, holding his wand steady. Black hair gave way to platinum blonde, his eyes became two toned, one sliver and one black. His skin paled and he gave a smirk when he looked up, "Do you think you can hold me?"

"We'll do are best." said Madam Picquery. "Mr. Grindelwald."
