Author's note: Crimes Of Grindelwald begins
March 18, 1927
Anastasia was going to kill him. The longer this went on the more likely...
"No, don't think about that." She told herself sternly."Brother."
"Sister, sister. Come to visit."
"I only have one question Gellert. Where is he?"
Gellert Grindelwald shrugged giving his sister an impish grin, "Did my sister grow a heart?"
"No, you bloody git.""Grindelwalds do not fall in love." They said together.
"Just tell me where he is so that MACUSA can at least have closure. I thought you never intended to kill your fellow witches and wizards."
"I don't, he isn't dead Stasia. But I wouldn't count on finding him alive."
That did it, wand drawn, Anastasia back handed her brother in the face. A bright red print decorated Gellert's left cheek. He deserved that, he knew, but it was so much fun to rile up his sister.
"By the way." He grinned as she turned to face him one last time, "Do stay out of other people's business next time."
"Don't count on it." She spat, slamming the door behind her.June 27, 1927
Anastasia scowled at the sight of Rudolph Spielman, Head of the Incarceration Department at the Ministry of Magic.
"What is he doing here?" She hissed at Abernathy, who shrugged.
"He can't be that bad.""The wizarding world owes you a great debt Madam Picquery."
"We would be happy to keep him here." She said.
"Nonsense, six months is enough, he must answer for crimes in Europe." Spielman gave a smile, "Hello Anastasia. Heard you are part of the guard."
"I am and I would not underestimate either Grindelwald. That one is very persuasive, we had to cut out his tongue." She pointed at the heavily guarded cell. "Change the guard at least three times."
Madam Picquery refrained from smiling, but none the less found Anastasia's comment amusing. She and Spielman had history, when he tried to incarcerate her as a follower of her brother. Thank Albus Dumbledore for the end of that scandal."We found his wand." Abernathy handed over a heavily locked wooden box.
"Abernathy." Madam Picquery prompted.
"We also found this." He handed over the long chained sliver charm. A pretty golden like gem glowed from the center.
The carriage was loaded and waiting, aurors stood by waiting for the signal.
"Be careful out there Anastasia. Come back when you can." said Madam Picquery. The other woman nodded, she would be returning to her post at Hogwarts.
"If nothing else lay him to rest."Madam Picquery gave Anastasia a tight embrace, "We will find him."
"Ready?" Spielman asked.
Anastasia brought back her confident smirk, appearing almost demented as her brother, "I'm looking forward to this."
Spielman's eyes widen and Madam Picquery shook her head, "Doesn't mean any harm, she's mad at him and with good reason. And may I remind you she doesn't like you."
"Water under the bridge Ms. Grindelwald." He said to her.
"Highly unlikely. Are we going?"
Spielman studied the two Grindelwalds, "You both really do strike a presence. Like you don't even need magic."Yeah well, they were good at that too.
