Aura

I called Antonio for the 5th time while pacing around the room, I hadn't heard from him in 2 days. Ever since he came back he's been acting very weird and I didn't know what to make of that shit.

"Fuck."I mumbled looking for Tanasia's number. I called her number and she picked up almost immediately.

"Hey Aura."she said joyfully.

"Hey, would you happen to know where Antonio is, I can't get ahold of him."

"Wait why would you think I would happen to know, girl I don't know nothing about that man."she said and her tone changed.

"I don't know maybe cause you guys were getting closer again."I mumbled.

"Aura what are you talking about, I last spoke to him the last time we saw each other."

"Are you sure?"

"What are you insinuating? I don't want your man I can't believe you still there girl."she said but I just didn't wanna believe her.

"Yes I'm still there."I said "now can you please tell me the truth."

I had to be nice about it to her, she had way more power than me when it came to everything.

She sighed "listen here, I don't know what obsession you and Lex had or still have over Antonio but it really doesn't concern me maybe he just needs space or some shit."

"Oh so he told you that... during what? Pillow talk maybe?"I poked my cheek with my tongue "he told you I'm obsessed with him?"

"No Aura he didn't tell me anything cause I don't speak to him, him and I don't talk the only reason why we even spoke was because you came to me for help I mean pull yourself together just look at the way you are acting."

"You know what? Fuck you."

"Alright this conversation is sooo over."she said "for the sake of your son, stop obsessing over Ant, it's not good for you or anyone else for that matter."

"You're right...I'm sorry I apologise" I said hearing the front door open, I walked to the front assuming it was Antonio cause I had locked the door and he had a key.

And it was.

I hung up the phone and leaned against the wall.

"Where you been?"

"I been making a bag what you mean."he asked looking around "where my son at G?"

G? Did he just call me G instead of baby or bae or something else but G? I'm sorry but uh nope.

"He's asleep."

"Why he always asleep."

"Cause he's still a baby."I rolled my eyes.

"Aight then I guess I'ma hang around until he gets up."Antonio said pulling out a blunt "I'm finna go smoke out in the balcony."

"Where you with Tanasia?"

"What?"he scrunched his face up "you tripping."

"Why do I feel like y'all are both gaslighting me."

"Bro it's been 2 years, she's married with 2 kids fuck I look like going back to her when I got you? Make that shit make sense."

"That don't mean shit, me personally if I was a guy I wouldn't mind fucking on a billionaires wife, the adrenaline rush and the fear of getting caught would be the best feeling."I shrugged making him laugh.

"Why can't shit go back to normal, when you got out you didn't let me know, you even calling me G now?"

"Aura, you just shot and killed your sister, you crazy aight and I'm tryna figure you out, Ion know if you are a genuine psychopath or you just very protective of Amiri."

"I thought she killed my baby I swear I'm not crazy but Amiri is the only thing keeping me from becoming a serial killer lowkey."

"You see what I mean? You gon' fuck around and stab me in my sleep."he said acting like he didn't stab, shoot and beat people to death for a living.

"Nah we cool, she's cooler than I expected that's all, when you realise that you actually need me mentally emotionally and all that shit, you know where I'm at but for now? Get out."I pointed at the door.

He chuckled"really now." He moved towards me.

"you better not be thinking of ending anything, you are mine at the end of the day."

"You are as hell don't act like it."I laughed, taunting him and he grabbed me by my neck.

"Quit playing with me Aura."he warned me.

"Or what? You finna tell me that I need you? That you own this apartment, you pay the bills and you give me an allowance? Or how you took the fall for a murder that I committed? What's it gonna be?"

"You deserve all this, you deserve the crib and everything else not because you got good pussy and a pretty face but because I'm taking care of my son and taking care of my son means making sure you good."he removed his hand away from my neck.

"When you decide to tell me what's bothering you, you know where I'm at."I smiled but really I felt like crying.

"I'ma come back later to see my son."

I really didn't want him to go but I wasn't about to chase him either.

He left and I let out a sigh I was really shocked at the fact that he didn't pull the 'thats my house, I pAy fOr tHaT hOuSe YoU cAnT kIcK mE oUt.' bullshit.

"Was that just Antonio?" Yas asked walking into the living room wearing lingerie.

"Uh yeah he just left."I shrugged sitting down as she sat next to me.

"Why you wearing that?"I asked staring at her body.

"I just bought it...I was fitting it."

"Oh"

"Are you okay? I mean I know you love him and stuff but maybe he just needs space"she put her hand on my thigh.

"Yas...what are you doing?"I asked staring at her hand.

"I'm just....comforting you."she smiled rubbing on my thigh.
