Aura
I woke up in cold sweat, still drunk as fuck, only, I was in Antonio's crib laying on his tatted chests.
So it was a dream.
I got up and took a cold shower, by the time I went to the living room, Antonio was up already rolling a Blunt."
"Who's jayven."
"Somebody....why you asking me this?"
"Just a dream."I gulped down a glass of water.
"That's my brother."
"What time did I come home last night?"I asked putting the glass down.
"You came home this morning."
So it wasn't a dream.
"I thought you were on your own out here."
"I am."Antonio said giving me short lived answers.
"But you have a brother, how come."
"We ain't blood related just like you and Lex, our parents only dated when we was younger type shiii."
"None of us are blood related and that's the most trippy shit, and we all fucking around with each other....some would say sweet home Alabama but I say bullshit, none of us blood related so fuck it."
"What you mean we all fucking around with each other?"
"I hooked up with Jayven last night."I shrugged "I was drunk I didn't know you and him go way back like that."
"He's still my brother."
"And you fucked my sister."I shrugged again.
"She ain't yo sister though."he mumbled.
"And Jayven ain't your brother."
I was surprised as to why he wasn't mad, he wasn't really reacting to what I was telling him, something was definitely wrong with Antonio and I could put my finger on it.
"What's wrong with you?"
"It ain't nothing major, I'm leaving for a few days, I'm going to Mexico, I'm leaving today."he mumbled getting up "when I'm gone you can fuck anybody you want Aura but I'm gon' wait for you, for you to realise that you belong right here with me."he pushed past me.
"Was everything you told me about my parents a dream? Or did you really tell me what they did?"I asked and he shook his head no.
"Can we go see Lex's parents? I need to have a serious talk with them."I said, he shook his head no making me confused.
"You still angry, you finna make irrational decisions."
"I don't need you thinking for me and telling me what to do nigga."I rolled my eyes.
"That ain't what it's about."he stood towering over me "I'm bout tired of this shit, you come with a lot of baggage and when I try to help you, you resist that shit and I'm just tryna look out for you."
"I don't need you looking out for me Antonio, okay I don't need a saviour, I'm fine I'm managing everything very well, you think you know everything about me but you really don't."
"Go...Aura you wanna be a big girl now? You wanna use them big guns go ahead but when they take you out like they did yo parents...it's gon' be over for you....when all the threats get to you don't come running back to me"he said and I snapped my head back at him.
"I'm sorry what?"
"What I say?"he tried to play dumb.
"You said when they take me out just like they did to my parents."
"Shit."Antonio shrugged "I guess you really know wassup now."
"So what? I'm suppose to just sit back and do nothing?"
"There's nothing you can do."he said grabbing his car keys.
"You don't love me do you?"he asked me making my heart stop.
"What are you talking about? You know I love-"
"Nah Aura, you a crazy ass bitch, you didn't really love me, you love the idea of me...last night I waited up the whole night for you, I ain't ever been so down bad for a bitch in a while, now I'm waiting for you just for you to tell me you fucked Jay? That's crazy."he chuckled.
"It was a drunk mistake."
"I'm sorry."I added.
"You finna let me know when you finally wanna make this work cause I ain't been with nobody else, and I ain't getting heart broken over you cause bitch you'd be dead by now but you're the mother of my child so you getting away with shit that you do."
"What are you trying to say?"I asked cause I wasn't really getting the picture he was tryna paint for me.
"I need to be left alone right now that's all."he said with a low tone.
I didn't wanna leave him in his state cause there was something wrong with him but I didn't wanna push it cause I knew I couldn't predict the outcome.
I went to my apartment, Yas was sitting by the dinner table eating cereal.
"Good morning whore."she giggled making me confused.
"Antonio couldn't find you last night, he came here looking for you, said he wanted to talk to you about something important."she said making me even more confused.
"Are you high again?"I asked and she noddded.
"Yup."
I wasn't in the mood to give this bitch a lecture cause I can't save everyone.
"Yas I messed up, I can feel it."I sat across her.
"What'd you do?"
"I slept with Jayven."
"Yeah you def-defin-definitely f-fucked up I mean are you all just fucking on each other? Imagine how awkward Thanksgiving dinner between your two families would be."she laughed.
"Girl please."I shook my head "none of us are related.
"Stop trying to make excuses for your thot behaviour Aura."
"Yas I'm literally gonna kick you out."
"Okay fineeee."she smiled with Sarcasm.
"You probably didn't know but two wrongs don't make a right cause the outcome will always have a conclusion and a consequence to the negative 13 if you put a positive mood to and you'll be alright."she smiled.
"Girl what."I squinted my eyes.
"So basically last night he ended up talking to me about shit."she smiled.
"What did he tell you."
"So basically when Jayven was balls deep in you, Antonio got a call, his mama passed away that man is mourning."
Right there and then my heart shattered as my phone rang.
"Hello."
"Wassup sweetheart."
"Who am I speaking to"I questioned.
"This is Jayven."
