It was one of those evenings, when Su Tang wasn't there. Mu Gufeng was unlucky enough to encounter the butler. He just slightly bowed, and walked out of the way but the butler was in a particularly bad mood today.

He called out to him and stopped him from going.

"What?"

"How dare you block my way! You are destined to die but you still insist on annoying people to death before dying."

At first, he didn't understand why he was being called out, but soon he understood. The butler was a typical bully who would target anyone whenever he felt unpleasant.

Mu Gufeng didn't take it to heart because he knew how to handle these kind of people.

But then he suddenly thought of something wicked and even when the butler pushed him, he didn't resist.

Instead, he deliberately took a big step back, and fell down the stairs right behind him.

At the same time, Su Tang was having a bad feeling. He had a feeling something bad has happened, unconsciously his pace quickened.

It did not take him even two minutes before he got a call from a servant that his beloved had gotten into an accident. His heart almost stopped and he ran as fast as he could.

His heart hurt like hell to see his lover insulted. Now, hearing about the accident, he felt an unfamiliar fear. He has never felt fear, not once. Even when brushing faces with death multiple times, he has only ever felt calm and excited.

Fifteen minutes later, he reached the elite hospital that most of the servants in the Su family would be admitted to. They may be servants but they were still servants of the rich Su family.

Panicked, he ran all the way and finally reached Mu Gufeng's ward after asking around.

His heart was hurting, his face and body were covered in sweat, and he was panting.
