Hello peeps~
Congratulations to my readers because the next chapter is the last chapter of this arc.
I know I am a lazy, slow poke but please bear with me~ ( っ ⸝⸝⸝◜~◝⸝⸝⸝ c)
...
Was a Ray a prophet? Absolutely not. But he was a hunter~
There was a reason why Ray asked his pig system to keep an eye on Grey and Sean only. It was mostly because of the main task, which was Resist Fate. Just as the name suggests, it's a revenge task, not a task to turn the story upside down.
As far as Ray is concerned, the ones who truly ruined the original Ray Yan's life were Grey Raymond and Sean Levitt. The rest had no involvement whatsoever.
Damien Yan, the original ML is out of the question. Michael Rain was most likely involved with Grey, according to his personality, mostly out of amusement. Considering that he is loyal to Damien Yan, he can also be taken out of the picture. The rest are the problem.
Grey Raymond and Sean Levitt are partners in crime in the same boat. They most likely know about each other even more than their own parents know them. They are evil incarnates.
The only one that remains is Ye Qui, the oblivious fool.
In fact, Ray had seen Ye Qui before in school. From what he gathered, Ye Qui was the oblivious knight in shining armor that Grey had acquired. The boy was not only a rich second generation but also a flower grown in a greenhouse.
That boy would believe anything Grey says with just a little bit of acting. Drop a few crocodile tears and he is yours.
It's not that Ray couldn't take that fool for himself, he just doesn't want to try. He doesn't understand why he has to do something like a disguise or a deception.
...
That day, when Sean Levitt returned home, he was greeted with a slap to his face.
"W-what? What was that for?!"
Sean looked at his father in shock.
Ever since he had brought his family from the countryside, not once did his family oppose him, in fact, they obeyed him.
And to top it off, it was his father, the quiet and cowardly one compared to his nagging mother who slapped him.
"BASTARD! HOW DID I HAVE A SON LIKE YOU?!!! Is that why we sent you to study in that academy?!?!"
Sean snapped. When has he ever suffered like this.
"What's the matter with YOU?!?!"
He couldn't care less about his father's face. He has never cared about it before, he could care even less now.
"Look at what you've done." His father threw bunch of papers onto his face.
"WH-" He became completely quite and soon paled as he went through the papers and photos in his hands. "Impossible. Impossible!"
How could anyone find out about this?!?!!!
Pictures of him and Grey kissing, of him buying exam answer sheets, of him and Grey gambling. But they weren't that bad and could not completely ruin him. What's truly scary are the documents. There are evidence of cheating and plagiarizing and statements from victims and witnesses.
Just when he losing his mind, his father threw him a black envelope.
Sean trembled, he was scared of this envelope. The light envelope weighed so heavy to him.
