After establishing their relationship, things were easier than  Ray had initially thought. There was no awkwardness, on the contrary, there relationship became even smoother than before as though this is how their relationship was supposed to be in the first place. 

Damien took Ray to his company more often. The employees there gradually got used to his presence and secretly called him the 'chairman's wife.' Damien practically took Ray everywhere with him, knowing that Ray was smart, he let him learn from what he sees and absorb everything he can. Regardless of what path Ray wants to pursue in the future, it's always good to be versatile. 

Ray's relationship with Evan also got better and better, and his relationship with the school became more and more weird. At first, it was plain awkward, then it did a total 180 degrees when some rich young masters from Class S approached Ray with ugly intentions. In the end, they ended up becoming punching bags. Even without his bodyguards,  he alone took them all down and beat them up so bad that their parents directly went to Damien to complain. Of course, the demon king Yan didn't even give them a glance and walked right past them with cold pressure, leaving everything to his assistant to take care of. Not only did the professionally trained assistant extort a apology from the families instead, Damien lost nothing whatsoever. Right after this incident, Ray officially became the school bully. Right now, the said 'school bully' was being 'bullied' by his best friend. Yes, it's Evan. As for why he was being bullied, that's because a certain couple turned the gossipy Evan into fudanshi  + gossipy Evan, the combination being destructive. The one to suffer became Ray.

Then Evan utterly destroyed Ray by asking-

He felt the coldness and apathy. If Ray was the lazy person who played with bad humans when bored, Damien was the cold person who wouldn't even put humans into his eyes. Ray was attracted to his apathy, he was attracted to his coldness. He loved the way his eyes would change whenever they looked at Ray.
