For some reason, Y/N thought it was a good idea to study all by her lonesome. Oh, was she ever so wrong.

The library that had become her designated tudor spot had now developed into a hangout area for the other students in this school. A library is supposed to be a place to not only study, but to catch up on some much needed peace and quiet—and right now, this place was beyond quiet.

Y/N huffed in irritation as she glared down at the various equations before her. Kyoya had informed her before class that he had prior plans to attend to, and that their session would have to be canceled for today.

Y/N could understand a raincheck under certain circumstances; that was fine. It was the sudden worksheet he had given her right before heading towards whatever arrangement he had made.

Now here she was. Stuck here in this noisy ass room where no one appeared to have a sense of consideration for the people around them. And on top of that, she was stuck filling out two math assignments without a single ounce of help.

Tutor my a-

"Good afternoon Milady."

Y/N shot her head up, a bit startled by the sudden greeting. Before her stood a boy that displayed a gentle smile. His hair was a vibrant blond as his eyes resembled the wisteria plants she would see in her grandmother's garden.

By his appearance alone, she could tell he was another prestigious rich kid, similar to Kyoya. However, he seemed a bit more laid back, relaxed even.

"You're the new student, correct? The one that joined our class about a week ago?"

"Y-Yeah, that's me. But I would say it's been over a week now." Y/N returned his smile, hoping that this wouldn't be another weird interaction. Lucky for her, this conversation appeared to be going in a different direction.

"I knew it!" He exclaimed before enthusiastically reaching out a hand. "My name is Tamaki Suoh, 2nd year. You and I are in the same class together."

It took a moment for Y/N to register what was happening. The same class...second year...

"Oh!" Y/N shot up from her chair before holding a finger up. "I remember you! You sit in the row next to me, just a few seats up." She then grasped his hand to exchange the greeting. "It's nice to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine mademoiselle."

"Mademoiselle?" Y/N let out an awkward chuckle at the pet name. "Just Y/N is fine."

"Very well." Tamaki gave you a soft grin in reassurance. However, his eyes soon caught onto the pieces of paper that were scattered across the tabletop. "What's all this?"

"Eh, just some worksheets. I've been struggling with Ms. Fushijima's coursework, so I'm hoping that these random problems my tutor gave me will help."

"Tutor?" Tamaki raised an eyebrow at the comment, however a small smirk was etched onto his features.

"Yeah. Ms. Fushijima thought it would be best for me to have one." She spoke, picking up one of the half finished worksheets. "But I'm starting to question whether he's here to help me or make me suffer..."

"Looks like they're working you hard."

"Tell me about it." She rolled her eyes with a groan.

"Well, I'm sure whoever this tutor of yours is just helping you pass the course." Tamaki reassured. "After all, that's what a tutor is for, correct?"

"I know, it's just..." Y/N took a deep breath before sitting back down in her chair. "I have a lot on my plate already, and all this extra school work is not helping."

"Well," Tamaki started as he took the chair across from her. "If you ever need assistance I will be happy to help. If I'm not in the classroom, you can find me in Music Room Three during club hours."

"A club, huh?" Y/N couldn't help but be a little intrigued. After all, this was the first club she has heard about since she got here. Maybe this will give her some sort of normalness in this school. "What kind of club?"

"Why, a host club of course."

Maybe not.

Tamaki crossed his legs elegantly as he explained with a smile. "The host club is a place where girls with too much time on their hands get entertained by boys who also have too much time on their hands."

"That sounds...interesting." Y/N spoke trying to hide her cringing expression.

"You should come visit sometime. I'm sure you'll have a great time." Tamaki's voice had a sweet tone as those words left his mouth.

"I...I think I'll pass."

"Aw come on. What do you have to lose?"

Y/N raised an eyebrow at him. "My dignity?"

Tamaki was visibly hurt by that comment which caused a small chortle to escape you. "Maybe another time."

"Very well." He cleared his throat before rising from his seat. "I will leave you to your work, but remember, if you ever need me just find me."

"Alright, thanks Tamaki." You waved with a smile as he departed from the table. As your focus slid back down towards the worksheets below you, there was only one thought going through your mind.

Tamaki Suoh, huh? What a weird guy.
