Introducing....
=) -THE FUN WAR- =(
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I look to see an ominous message written in blood onto the board:
' THE FUN WAR HAS BEGUN =)'
When I read the message, my body stiffened up, unable to move. My eyes started to tear up, from the terrible stench, as I looked around the room. The lights were destroyed, glass shards everywhere. The desks were in terrible condition after being thrown across the room, and all I could see was a wreck.
Even though I wanted to run out of the room, as bile was rising up into my throat, I knew I couldn't do so, not yet. Carefully, I crept into the room, and peered over the many smashed tables, evasively stepping over the corpses. The stench in the room was now unbearable, making it feel suffocating in here. Blood practically flooded the floor, as it seeped into my socks. The blood was warm, making my socks mushy. It all felt so nauseating, but I kept going, until I reached a broken wooden table. I hesitantly peeped my head, eventually stopping dead in my tracks.
-....- I was too stunned to speak.
Their it was, a dead body, with their intestines spilt onto the floor. Their mask was forcefully ripped off their face, replaced with a crude bloody smile carved into their flesh. They were devoid of any life, and where there once was a living partypooper, was now a freshly dead corpse.
'=)'
"What have they done to you...?" I mutter under my breath, holding my tears back, as I approached closer to inspect the body.
*CRASH*
I whipped my head around to see what made the sudden noise. Was their still a partygoer in here or did something else cause this? Maybe this was all just some stupid cruel nightmare.
-..Who?- I managed to spit out, as I felt my body shaking violently, my eyes examining every corner of the room. I managed to catch a glimpse of a shadow before it moved away from my sight.
I could hear the eerie giggles from the shadow get increasingly louder. It was definitely a partygoer. My nerves were on edge, and I felt the shadowy figure creeping closer to me, out of my vicinity. The room felt as if it were pitch black, my eyes unable to perceive anything.
The only thing I could think of was to get out, ALIVE.
The footsteps gradually got closer, thumping in sync with my heartbeat. If I was going to leave, I had to do it at the right time.
Suddenly, the footsteps started to dash towards me, with incredible speeds. I braced myself for a fatal blow, and a felt something bite my hand. I could feel the venom spread into my body, starting to feel a bit faint. I braced myself for another attack, but all I could hear was a gunshot, before the partygoer dropped dead. I turned to see the caretaker, standing at the doorway. I quickly hid my hands wound from the caretaker, and thankfully, the room drew their attention away from me.
-Got in trouble already?- they replied, but they clearly weren't joking around. Their voice was deadly serious, as I saw more of the other adult partypoopers swarm into the room, to investigate and clean the scenario. The caretaker escorted me out of the room, as the others were dealing with the situation.
-You're still a kid, don't mess with things like this.- they patted my head, but they were monotone, not expressing any emotion. I technically was going to be an adult soon, since I was graduating tomorrow, but I didn't bother to say anything. That clearly wasn't going to happen, and, their might even be a war....
-You go back to your dorms. We are putting this place on lockdown. You kids need to stay back and take care of the others (kids).- The caretaker spoke coldly, though it wasn't directed to me. They turned to the other partypoopers, with uncertainty of what will happen next.
I headed back into my dorm, where a bunch of my friends were, all of them were staring at me, with gloomy expressions on their faces.
-Guys....- I began to spoke, but couldn't seem to get the words out.
-Those god damn bastards!- H blurted out, emotionally, with tears flooding her face. Never the less, I was shocked to see such words leaving her mouth, but I understood her feelings.
-It's okay H, we will be the ones killing those stupid trash bags.- 583 replied, though you could tell that she was terrified of the situation.
I could feel R staring at me, and I stared at him back, hesitantly.
- We need to talk.- he spoke in monotone, trying to keep his face remained blank, not expressing his emotions. It was clear that he was nervous though. He pulled me by the arm (thankfully not by the one that got bit), and dragged me into another room, away from the others.
- I told you we couldn't trust #42.- R sighed, as he shut the door to the room, silencing our conversation from the others.
-.... I know.- I whispered quietly, though I didn't even know what to believe anymore. How could they do this to us? It might be just me, but I felt as if the air was water, as if my lungs were inhaling water.
- J. The partygoers have literally have been nothing from a pain to us from the beginning, and #42 is one of them. Their 'kind' have literally started a war with us.- R pointed out, a bit more aggressive in his tone. I tried to focus on R's words, but I was mentally tired, and physically growing weaker, as the venom spread throughout my body.
It felt so suffocating in here, so I walked out of the room, despite my friends begging me to stay inside. I felt as if I was going to throw up blood.
- J! We are supposed to stay inside!- 583 whispered yelled, as she urged me to come back inside. -You'll die out there.- She was comforting H, counting on R to convince me to stay.
- You can't leave.- He was dead serious, concern in his eyes. - We are in a war right now, it's too dangerous.- he spoke sternly, while softly holding my wrist. I sudden urge to cry struck me, from the amount of pain I felt. It felt as if needles were pricking into my wrist.
But I ignored it, ripping my hand away from R's grip with the little strength I had. I stormed out of the door, slamming it shut behind me.
- Level 52 will now go on lockdown mode. - a calm voice spoke from the speakers. - Please follow the norMAAL- the voice cut off, as I could hear screams and shouts down from the hallway.
