Chapter 3. High School

As I turned to look at Kenneth, I can tell from the look on his face that he was absolutely shocked of what we were seeing. I turned back to look at Victor and saw that he hasn't changed one bit. I mean, I figured that he couldn't have since we don't age.

'' Victor. You're still alive? '' I said in shock. '' Pssh.. Of course I'm still alive dumbass. You didn't think that I could've been killed that easily now did you?'' Kenneth was still standing there speechless. Constantly staring at Victor like he was angry with him. '' After all these years, this is the warm welcome I get from you Ken? I was expecting more from you bro! '' After Kenneth finally snapped out of it, he walked towards Victor as he held out his hand. ''Welcome home brother! '' he said. '' Well, that's more like it. It's good to be home bro! '' I sighed with relief. For a moment there, I thought Kenneth was ready to attack Victor.

But I was curious on how Victor found me and Kenneth. ''Victor. How exactly did you find us?'' I mean it's been over a century now. How were you able to find us here?'' I asked confused. ''Ouch. It's only been about 100 years and you already forgot what I'm capable of little sis?'' I couldn't really catch up on his sarcasm, until I finally figured out what he meant by that. Victor has a special ability to read minds and see the future.

''So, I'm pretty sure that you already saw us coming then huh?'' I asked Victor. ''I already knew you guys would come back way before I saw it happen.'' he said as he smirked at me and Kenneth. It was getting late and we all went back to the house where we could spend the whole night catching up on each other's lives. I didn't really care about anything else. I was just happy to be reunited with my brothers again.

The next morning I was awaken by the sunlight shining on my face. ''Rise and shine sleepyhead!'' Victor shouted. ''Victor! It's seven in the morning!'' I yelled as I pulled the covers over my face. ''Yes that's true but today is Monday.'' he said as he pulled away the covers. ''So what if it's Monday! I don't have anything planned for today!'' I shouted. ''YOU may not have anything planned, but I do. Today you and Kenneth are going to school!'' he explained. ''School? I haven't went to school in ages and you expect me to go now that 142 years old?'' Victor ignored my question as he went across the hall to wake Kenneth up. I can finally remember why Victor and I didn't get along very well. He's annoying as hell and irritates me to the point where I just want to stab him with a stake.

I got up and walked downstairs to see that Victor had made pancakes and eggs for breakfast. Well, I was happy to see that this part of Victor didn't change. I missed those days where he would cook for us. He may be a complete dick sometimes, but he has a bit of a sensitive side.

''Vic I still don't understand why you are making me and Kenneth go to school. I mean isn't school for... you know... teenagers?'' I asked.

''Well you did die and turn when you were 16. So technically you're still a teenager.'' he answered. ''Well what about Kenneth, he turned when he was 21. Why are you making him go too?' As I waited for Victor to answer my question, I saw Kennneth walking down the stairs wearing a fitted, white V-neck, dark jeans, and black shoes.

''I'm making Kenneth go with you because I don't want you causing any trouble. And who else is going to stop you from getting out of control?'' he said. ''I still think that it would be better if I just stay home.'' I muttered. ''Well you can't. Since I'm the oldest, what I say goes. Understood?'' I rolled my eyes and continued eating my breakfast so I can get ready for school.

I decided to go for a casual look today. I threw on a pair of dark skinny jeans, a white, loose tank top, and a pair of black flats. As I walked out the door, I saw Kenneth waiting outside the driveway by his black BMW. ''Umm.. why are we driving?'' I asked. '' Well since the school is about 20 minutes away from here, I figured we drive. Plus we have to blend in.'' I wasn't really intrigued about Kenneth driving us to school nor was I excited about even going to school, but I didn't want to hear Victor's raging mouth. I got inside the car and strapped my seat belt on as Kenneth drove off. After driving for about 10 minutes now, I started to worry. What if I can't control myself? What if my anger and hunger completely take over? So many questions in my head that I was starting to have second thoughts about going to school.
