Bliss was thinking.

She wanted to plan something for Connor.

But what could she do for him?

She wasn't as keen on planning as he was.

She was more spontaneous.

Today, she wanted to be thoughtful.

"Lord, help me!" She pleaded and accidentally rolled off the hammock.

"This doesn't help," She huffed while laughing.

Her eyes widened at the sight of her speaker.

The same speaker Connor used to play his song for her the night they danced.

The night they kissed.

Dancing was beautiful for more than one reason now.

Dancing with Connor put her on a cloud in God's hand.

"Thank You!" She cheered. "We'll dance! I can teach him how to dance!"

There was something about being held closely by Connor that made her swoony.

"But what will I teach him? He already knows how to sway, and sing," She sighed dreamily, recalling his melodic baritone voice.

He was perfect.

And he wanted to marry her.

What more could she ask for?

"I don't know, but wow,"

One day, she would be Bliss Jefferies.

The name sent flutters to her heart.

How did she end up here?

So blessed and adored.

God saw her for years and redeemed every lost second.

Now, while there was no need for romantic redemption, God saw fit to bless her beyond her dreams with Connor.

Why?

God loved her. He wanted her to know how much He adored her.

And He sent the perfect man to express it in detail.

There was no room to wonder or question anything with Connor. His motives were crystal clear.

He knew and pursued her fiercely.

He was after her hand in marriage. Forever and onward.

He laid it all out, and she accepted.

She'd spent years with the Lord being her One and only. She knew goodness and faithfulness because she was intimate with Him. He was her Friend. He loved her unconditionally.

He set the standard.

Connor was similar. He was perfect in his own way and amazingly faithful to God.

She couldn't ask for more.

His parents were even amazing.

The way Mr. Chuck spoke about Connor touched Bliss's heart to the core.

He adored Connor and found no shame in letting the world know.

Mrs. Danita was the same. Grateful to God for blessing them with a son.

There was no malice toward God for not enabling them to conceive—only love and gratitude.

And they approved of her for Connor.

That made her happy.

She was the answer to their prayer for him.

She couldn't wait for her mother to meet them.
