It was the time of the month.

The 3rd of the next month.

Gojo was ready as ever, waiting at the spot to see y/n, as he kept checking his watch.

7:57 pm...

7:58 pm...

7:59 pm....

8:00 pm.

His heart was about to jump out of his chest from how fast it was beating.

Shaking in his place waiting for her to come to the door, he heard gentle knocking.

He took a deep breath trying to calm himself down and opened the door quickly.

His eyes lit up, his heart filled with joy, she hadn't changed at all.

"Y/n!" -Gojo exclaimed, hugging her deeply and tightly, it was full of love and affection as he truly did miss her very much.

"Satoru! It's been forever dear! How have you been?!" -y/n returned the same excitement as she hugged him back just as tightly, joy beaming from her eyes as her smile only got wider.

"The same, fighting curses, training, annoying Geto, you know how it is. Tell me about you! What have you been up to?!" -Gojo let go of the hug and held her by her arms squeezing them from excitement.

"Glad you're doing well, as for me, weeeeell, let's seeee, I took down a special curse all by myself, chased down a dangerous criminal and caught him, stopped a robbery, and saved several cats from trees. So pretty much boring as well." -y/n was extremely excited to tell him how her month went, as she seemed to brag a little.

"You're telling me that all that is BORING?! Woman! It has been a nightmare of boredom for me! Especially that you're not here to hang out with me anymore, it's lonely, and for some reason, I feel empty." -Gojo swung his hands around in shock, as he lowered his head to the ground, admitting to her that he misses her.

"I know it isn't easy Satoru, I'm sorry, but this is how it has to be for now. You are wrong if you think I don't feel lonely without your company. You have become such a close person to me, I couldn't imagine my life without you in it anymore." -y/n blushed slightly as she tilted her head to look at Gojo's eyes.

"You mean it?" -asked Satoru lifting his head.

"Yes, I do. I am sorry that we had to part ways. Remember this is only temporary." -explained y/n reassuring him with a gentle smile on her face.

"How long until you return?" -Gojo asked, slightly worried to get an answer which wouldn't be what he'd like to hear.

Y/n took a big sigh before answering him, "I can't tell you for sure Satoru."

"What do you mean? You don't even know when you'll return here? How does that make sense y/n?" -Gojo was quite upset, slightly heartbroken, as his expression turned sad immediately.

"I'm hoping around 5 months, give or take. Is that an answer you'll take?" -y/n felt guilty for doing this to him, making him wait for her, not able to give him a straightforward answer, as her expression became sad as well.
