Ni-Ki's POV
The sun and a peacefully sleeping Jay greeted me as I opened my eyes. My head ached slightly, I tried regathering all of the memories from last night and slapped my cheek kinda hard in frustration.
Someone remind me to never drink. AGAIN!
All I could remember was eating a shitload of cake, which now my stomach was kinda disagreeing with...
Someone also remind me to not eat a shitload of cake. AGAIN!
My feet scurried themselves to the bathroom as I practically threw my guts up in the toilet.
Tut, tut, tut.
"Ni-Ki, you really need a learn-your-limits lesson,"
"Fuck you,"
"And the same back," Jay being Jay ran a hand through his hair before sweeping me off my feet like some hero and carrying me downstairs.
Someone remind me why I'm dating a handsome idiot?
My handsome idiot set me carefully down onto the couch before heading towards the kitchen where mom stood making...food?
My vision was really starting to blur and my life before me started fading.
Darkness.
That's what I opened my eyes to a mirror in front of me holding the reflection of Jay but not me.
He looked different this time. He was dressed in a silk robe fastened by a golden rope. Two wings sprouted either side of his back, one soft like an angel the other fading slowly part by part its magnificence ruined by a hole, one he couldn't fix. I reached out to touch it forgetting that it was a mirror, but to my surprise, my hand went through, this, wasn't real?
Everything felt so alive.
It hit me.
Everything around me was alive, I wasn't.
A memory?
I saw myself walking hand in hand with "Jay "I had angel wings either side of my back and I was smiling at "Jay". Until the older turned his head towards my direction.
Was I visible?
I blinked and suddenly both me and "Jay" had turned into kids chasing each other round a playground which was really an arena except no one else was there but me. I blinked again to find that me and "Jay" were in our angel forms except something was wrong with me.
"NI-KI WAKE UP!"
A voice echoed around the area shaking it at an alarming rate. "Jay" looked at me with scared eyes.
Pain.
Pain shot through my body like a bullet as I tried to get up it felt like my lungs were being crushed and every bone in my body was breaking.
Light.
A really bright one at that. I turned my head to the side to find that I was on my bed, Jay lying beside me with red, puffy eyes like, he'd been crying? Had he?
I reached out for his face and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
"Jay, don't cry, you're going to soak one of my best shirts,"
The raven-haired boy tsked under his breath,
"Only the legendary Ni-Ki would say that,"
With that I embraced Jay letting a warm feeling sink in, one I wouldn't let go of.
"Jay?"
"Yes my great floofball of cuteness, spice and everything nice?"
"I am so don- you know what? Why don't we go to the park?"
"It's raining though,"
"We've got umbrellas and a nearby cafe we'll survive,"
"Okay princess,"
"I'm gonna kill you one of these days,"
Jay sighed in a playful manner, slowly getting out of my arms,
"Precisely that,"
