Jay's POV
I was going downstairs to get water when I heard a voice coming from the kitchen table,
"Had a good night's se- I mean sleep,"
"Who are you?"
"Oh sorry you probably can't see me,"
A woman, probably in her early-thirties, stepped forward into the light and gave me a welcoming smile,
"Sorry if I scared you, I just came back from a business trip,"
I glanced over to her mint green suitcase waiting to be put back in the storage room,
"I'm assuming you're Ni-ki's friend, Jay, the one on his lockscreen?"
"That's me,"
"Please make sure nothing happens to my son, or else...,"
She gave me a spine-chilling death stare,
"Yes m'am," I showed her my best smile
"Gosh, you really are a baby boy,"
"Y-you heard us?" My cheeks turned a shade of rosy red,
"It was quite difficult not to,"
"Sorry m'am we'll be quieter,"
"It's alright, at least I know Ni-ki is having fun, also please don't call me m'am call me mum or aunty,"
I gulped down the rest of my water,
"Goodnight aunty,"
"Goodnight,"
I trudged back up the stairs to find Ni-ki tossing and turning (yet he calls me his baby boy). I climbed back into bed, Ni-ki cuddling me the moment he found my waist.
Morning came by pretty quickly with the sun blinding our eyes. I turned to face the still-sleeping boy whose eyes finally opened after flicking his forehead,
"Ouch, that hurt,"
"Not as bad as my limp though,"
"What lim- OH! Sorry, I did enjoy it and I can't lie,"
"Good, you should've otherwise I would've snapped your bones like Vecna did to Krissie," ( idk if that's how it's spelt 😭).
Ni-ki slowly started to get off the bed whilst I laid there lost in thought,
"Jay, why didn't you tell me sooner, about all of this,"
My breath hitched at the question,
"I didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable,"
"You never make me feel uncomfortable, in fact you always make me feel complete, you make me feel like the Nick to your Charlie, the Darcy to your Tara, the Max to your Eleven, you make me feel like me,"
"That was so emotional, I'm crying a flood now,"
Ni-ki sighed and smirked,
"Sarcasm much,"
"Pancakes?"
"Yes please,"
I tried standing up but failed hopelessly clinging on to the bedpost,
"Ni-ki, a little help?"
The blonde-haired male mouthed an 'oh' wrapping my arm around his neck carrying me bridal style, brushing my teeth and helping me get dressed for the day. Luckily it was a Saturday, else eyes would be on us.
