I woke to a voice whispering my name, it's voice wispy like the feel of cotton candy melting on my tongue.....
I began to slowly step out of bed, careful not to wake Death. My feet padded softly down the hall as I tried to follow the voice.
Finally I decided it was coming from the forest and I quickly threw on my coat. Once I finally closed the door behind me with a soft click, I broke into a run, determined to see who was calling me.
When I got there I saw my teacher, Nero, and my best friend, Athena, standing there. Nero said "take a seat."
"Why?" I replied
"Must you question everything I ask you?" He replied exsasperatly.
I sighed and took a seat.
******************5 irritating minutes later************************
"YOUR MY WHAT!?!?!?"
"I'm your father, now are you going to continue starring at me like I am a idiot or are you going to finally understand."
"Why are you barely telling me this now?!?!?" I replied, agitated that he kept this from me.
"I knew you wouldn't be ready for this piece of information."
My blood began to rush through my veins as my eyes slowly began to turn purple, my hair turning to a burning flame.
My nails grew long and sharp, my teeth to pointed razors. The ground slowly began to crack and crumble under my feet.
When I was small I would always try to suppress this urge to turn back into the animal I've hidden for so many years...But I'm tired of hiding who I am....
Darkness rushed about me as I started to lift into the air, a beacon for the evil spirits lurking about.
My father and my sister scrambled back and looked at me in surprise....after all, almost nobody has ever seen this side of me...
The ground slowly began to change its shape and structure beneath my feet. I was the warrior who built this place a more then 10 million years ago.
It recognized me and started to rebuild itself from what these vile humans had done to it. Dark magic swirled at my fingertips ready for a command.
There's no turning back now........
