As I walk to school people point and laugh.
My two bestfriends, Sarah nightblade and Crystal nightingale walk beside me. It was a hard morning. I awoke to screaming of my father and my siblings.
My father hit me again, I'm sure to get a bruises were he held my arm and wrist while he punched me.
When lunch rolls around, me and Sarah head to the outside tables and when nobody's around she asks "Okay what happened. And you can't tell me its nothing because I see your bruises and you look like you want to cry".
I immediately told her everything and burst into tears doing so.
She hugged me and stoked my hair then she said something that made me laugh.
"hey, I kicked a guy in the nuts yesterday, you should've seen him! He was turning red and cussing holding his man pride" at that moment I burst out laughing. Classic Sarah.
"Wow you really know how to cheer me up don't you" I said smiling as I wiped away my tears from my laughing fit after I sobered up.
"You know it!" Sarah exclaimed making both of us laugh once more. "Hey I heard about that guy Death," she winks, "asked you out? You should say yes!"
"Shhhh!!!" I shushed her and put my hand over her mouth, to bad I forgot that when I do that, she licks my palm.
I yipped and wiped my hand on her jacket which she just laughed at. Then Sarah spoke "hey I heard that we're getting transfered to this other teacher called 'Shadow Blade'. Sounds cool right?"
I snorted and responded with a "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Smarty just let me eat my food".
Sarah snorted at the nickname I had been calling her ever since we were kids. You see Sarah was never late to class, always got 100's on all her assignments and was always the top student in school. But she never ran for president or anything.
After school was over we headed over to the place we were told to meet shadow blade. Keep in mind we're sixteen.
