I shoot the ball and the crowd goes wild as the clock ticks to zero.

"Two dubs, baby!" Ashton yells as we do our special handshake and end it with a huge hug.

We're only two games into the spring season and I couldn't be happier with the way things are going. I'm averaging 22 points per game. And my assistant coach seems very pleased.

I look into the audience and see my mom sitting next to Olivia as they clap and I blow a kiss in their direction.

As I walk towards the locker room, I see my brother, Trevor standing a few feet away with Yara near by.

"Spencer!" He waves me over. "Good game, baby bro!"

"What's up?" I ask.

"Hope you don't mind, I just came to check you out!" He says excitedly and I nod.

"I was actually just getting out of my study group and caught the end of the game," Yara explains. "I see you got the win!"

I smile and we give each other a victory fist pound.

"Yeah, you know how I do!" I say confidently and she rolls her eyes.

"Honestly, I haven't seen you in like a week. So I sort of forgot how you do!" She mouths sarcastically and I nod before we slowly walk out of ear's reach of Trevor.

"The past week has been crazy for me. In a good way though."

"Well, you can tell me all about it over Vito's," she suggest and I smile nostalgically.

She and I have been patronizing Vito's, after most of my home game wins, since I was thirteen years old.

"I'll have to take a rain check. Olivia and I are already getting tacos." I respond and she nods. "We made things official last week."

"Congrats, but I kind of figured as much since you haven't been around lately."

By choice, I haven't been sleeping at Yara's dorm to be closer for practice. Mainly because I spend half the night on FaceTime with Olivia.

"It's still real new. So you know how that goes—-but next home game me and you can hit up Vito's! Alright, scrub?" I tell her and she nods before walking away.

Trevor looks her up and down from a distance before turning his attention back to me.

"Is she single?" He asks and I shrug.
