Y/N and Yeonjun arrived at the cafe, spotting their friends Soobin and Yuna waiting at their usual table.

Soobin: “Look who finally decided to show up! Our little dumbo!” he teased with a playful grin.

Y/N: “Yah, Soobin!” She gave him a playful glare before sitting down next to Yuna.

As they settled in, laughter and friendly teasing filled the air. They caught up with each other, sharing stories and jokes, when Yeonjun suddenly brought up the reason for their meet-up.

Yeonjun: “Y/N, you mentioned you had something to tell us?”

At his question, Y/N’s heart skipped a beat, but she nodded, gathering the courage to tell them everything. She explained the sudden engagement to Taehyung, the circumstances behind it, and the ominous feelings she had about him.

Her friends were stunned, eyes wide with shock.

Yeonjun: “Are you serious, Y/N? They want you to marry that guy in two weeks?” His voice had a hint of anger, which made Y/N flinch slightly.

Y/N: “Yeah, it’s all happening so fast... Anyway, anyone want to go shopping with me? We’re going with the Kim family, so I could use some company,” she said, trying to change the subject.

Yuna and Soobin: “We’d love to, but we already planned to go to the movies.” They gave her sympathetic smiles before Yeonjun volunteered to go with her.

Time Skip: Later that Morning

Y/N glanced at her watch, realizing it was 10:50 AM.

Y/N: “Yeonjun, we should head out. My parents are waiting for us,” she said, standing up to bid their friends goodbye.

They waved off Yuna and Soobin before sending a quick message to her mom.

OTP

Y/N: “Mom, Yeonjun and I will meet you guys at the store. You can go with the Kim family.”

Mom: “Alright, honey.”

With that, Y/N hung up and left the cafe with Yeonjun, both unaware of the tension that awaited them at the showroom.
