(Okay trigger warning. It gets pretty dark :/)

---------------

How many times does it take to get used to being kidnapped? Seems like a dumb question, but now I really gotta know the answer. Because the second time definitely wasn't better than the first.

I woke up in the back of an SUV. My hands and feet tied together, though much looser than when I was kidnapped by Stray Kids. I was able to see out a tinted window, it looked about 4:30 ish. How long have I been unconscious?

"I see you've finally woken up!" Jang Jihoon bellowed, his raspy voice filling up the car. "Those pesky members of your group have been trailing us for the past hour. So I've had no choice but to be driving around in circles."

The earrings! Thank god for Changbin and his crazy tech stuff! I have to thank him when I see him again.

Will I see them again? They were much kinder than this Jihoon guy is. Well most of them, their leader gives off mixed feelings towards me. One minute he called me beautiful, the next he threatened my life.

A sharp bang sound pierced the air. A bullet

I looked out the trunk windows, and tried to make out if they hit the car. I pressed my face to the window until I could see the rear view mirror. There was Stray Kids

"Fuck!" I heard Jihoon curse from the front seat. "Pull over at that old warehouse, call in backup and we can finish these stupid kids.

The car made a sharp left turn which allowed me to see where we were. A dark part of Seoul, known for petty thieves and rookie gangs stirring up trouble. Of course we'd end up here.

Another bullet hit the back of the car, only feet away from me. I swear to fucking god if I get shot-

The car suddenly pulled to a stop. I could hear Jihoon and who I'm assuming is his guard leaving the car. A tall, bald man opened the trunk and tried to pull me out.

"Help! Help! Bangchan, Changbin, Felix! Anyone help! I screamed as the guard practically dragged me.

"Shut up, or I'll put a bullet through your pretty mouth." Jihoon threatened. "Now take her to the storage room. And lock it tight. We'll get her once we put an end to Stray Kids."

"What'd they even do to you?" I asked, trying to buy Stray Kids more time.

"I'm no idiot. But your leader is. He thought we wouldn't notice that he and his ragtag 'mafia' pinned the blame of one of my own biggest suppliers on myself. You are all too cocky and deserve to be put in your place. Now hurry up and get inside!" He screamed at the guards.

I could barely make out the room I was in. I could see empty supply crates and old, broken down windows. Letting in the smallest amount of light.

I was pushed into a room far away from where we entered. Maybe 300 feet without counting turns? I had no idea. The bald dude locked me in here from the outside. Which seems pretty dumb, because they could just open it.

What I did know was I had to get out of these stupid ropes I'm tied up in. I pulled and twisted the constraints on my arms, But with every movement I made, I became even more and more exhausted. I haven't slept properly; unless you consider being unconscious sleeping. Then I would've slept for days.

I could feel myself lapsing in and out of consciousness. It all felt as if I was being spun around. The loop of gunfire and footsteps in the warehouse were drowned out by the buzzing in my ear.

A buzzing in my ear?

Changbin's earpiece! What if they were trying to communicate!? I felt the adrenaline surge back into my body as I started to work through the ropes on my hand

"There we go!" I whispered, freeing my hands from one another. Then, I easily untied my   how does this stupid thing work? I felt around on my left earring, I could feel the cold metal and grooves on it. But nothing I think could be used for communication.

I reached for my right earring, and felt the same thing. Shit I must have missed something. I felt it again. Then the other one, then both. I knew there was a way to talk to someone, there had to.

But then I realized. There's a difference in the pattern. The left one felt much smoother, smaller than the other one. I took the right earring out and held it in my hand. I used the light of the setting sun through the window to find something.

And I found it! A small switch just underneath the earring back. Just gotta see if this works.

"Hello?" I whispered into the earpiece.

"Sara is that you!?" I made out Bangchan's voice. He was breathing heavily, was he wounded?

"Yes it's me. Bangchan are you wounded?" I whispered

"Rather the opposite. Got rid of two thugs and I gotta say they have no aim. There's that confidence that Jihoon said they have.

"But Sara, where are you? We're getting the cases and getting out of here." The leader asked

"No idea. I'm in a room about the size of your bedroom. There's a window. But not big enough to climb through." I answered, trying to give every detail about my location.

"Can you see the sun, Sara?"

"Yes" I whispered

Another few gunshots echoed nearby "Please hurry sir."

"Drop the formalities darling. I'm heading to the west side of the building right now. The rest of the group, finish what you're doing and meet me there. I'm getting Sara and the money, then we'll go."

A storm of "yes sir" or "yes boss" filled the room. I heard a few footsteps pass by, but no matter how hard I screamed, none of them stopped. None of them were Stray Kids.

The last sounds of gunfire could be heard. And so could heavy footsteps. "Chan!?" I screamed, finally hoping for an answer.

"Sara!? Are you alright?" The leader's voice spoke back.

"Not hurt. So I'm fine."

"Good. I'm sawing through the constraints on the door. Get the briefcases and get ready to go. We have to be quick.

I hopped up, off the ground. Grabbing both cases. The scratch of Chan unlocking the door echoed throughout the entire building.

"Chan, are there any quieter ways to unlock this door?" I begged, the stress building up in my body.

"Not unless you have enough time to figure out how to pick a lock using a machete." He joked.

"Chan please, they're coming. I know it!"

"So do I. But I'm almost done and we'll be out of here soon. Okay? Just stay calm. Take deep breaths."

I followed his instructions as he finished sawing through the old wooden door. Long breath in. Long breath out...

"Finally!" Bangchan cheered. He kicked the non attached door to the side, throwing down his machete. "I'm so sorry it turned out like this Sara..." the leader said, hugging me, his face nestled in my hair.

There was a light sound of footsteps. But I didn't notice until it was too late. Jang Jihoon stood witness to us. Picking up the leader's blade. Yet, I was busy focusing on this confusing man, with warm brown eyes and the smell of coffee in his fluffy hair.

"Chan no! Back up! Jihoons gonna stab you-" I screamed, pulling him to the side.

A scream. A gunshot. Two bodies. One unmoving, one, a machete in his arm.

I missed.
