"But, Feng? Why another ring?" Jin Ling asks, looking at the vintage ring he slips on her right hand.

"This one, I bought for you." Uncle Feng says, tapping the diamond and ruby ring on her left hand. "This one, was my Mother's. I'd like you to wear it." He kisses both her hands and smiles up at her.

"Oh Feng, it should stay in your family!" Jin Ling says, looking nervously at Gu Wei.

"It is. Don't worry Auntie." Gu Wei says, smiling and leaning into Chen Yu's arms.

"I admit, initially, I was saving it for A'Wei's wife." Uncle Feng grins and chuckles softly, looking at Chen Yu. "I don't think it's A'Yu's style."

"It definitely looks better on you, than it would on me Auntie." Chen Yu laughs, kissing Gu Wei's forehead.

"Perhaps, one day you'll pass it on to Soo-Yung. It'll stay in the family." Uncle Feng smiles, Jin Ling nodding through her tears and hugging him tightly.

"Yu-Yu, why Mama cry?" Soo-Yung asks, sitting on his lap.

"Because she's SO happy. You, Mama, and Baba are going to be a family. Together always." Chen Yu answers and Jin Ling cries harder, smiling at him.

"Mama happy?" Soo-Yung asks, looking at her weeping Mother. She turns back to Chen Yu. "Sure?"

"I'm sure Princess. Your Mama is so happy she can't hold it inside herself." Chen Yu sees the worried look on the toddler's face and whispers in her ear. "I bet Mama would feel better if you gave her a hug." He winks and the little girl smiles.

Soo-Yung climbs down from his lap, running to her parents and giving her Mother a hug. She's lifted up by Uncle Feng, holding both his girls close. She pats her Mother's cheek and they smile at each other. Jin Ling gives her a kiss on each cheek and they both giggle. Jin Ling wipes her eyes smiling and leaning into Uncle Feng's arm. She tickles Soo-Yung and they both laugh again. The little girl turns to smile and nod at Chen Yu, putting a tiny arm around each of her parents necks.

"They look so happy together. It's perfect." Gu Wei sighs, leaning his head on his husband's shoulder.

"Mn. It really is." Chen Yu kisses his head and squeezes him tight.

They've had a really great afternoon and evening with family. Mrs. Luo even popped in for a bit after her physical therapy session. Gu Wei is waiting in the car as Chen Yu instists on seeing her to her apartment.

"So, I heard that you boys have a new surrogate?" Mrs. Luo asks, leaning heavily on Chen Yu's arm.

"Two actually." Chen Yu says with a smile. "A lesbian couple willing to help us. To bad they left early. Their daughter was getting fussy." He explains, as they exit the elevator. He sees a young woman outside the door of his old apartment, she's fumbling with the lock. "You have to pull, then unlock it. I can't believe they still haven't fixed that."

"Oh, thank you." The young woman says, turning to look at him. She visibly flinches and her eyes widen. "Good night." She says and hurries inside.

"Odd." Chen Yu mumbles, helping Mrs. Luo into her apartment. He grabs her cane from the counter and passes it to her with raised brows. "No more being stubborn young lady. You have this for a reason."

"Alright, alright. I promise. Now go on, you shouldn't keep that handsome lao gong of yours waiting." Mrs. Luo pats his cheek, smiling brightly.

"You sure you'll be okay now?" Chen Yu asks, nearly offering to help her into her nightgown.
