".... Oh no Darin... don't throw them on the floor baby boy!..."
She bent to pick up his bowl and spoon, but his toothless smile beamed at her, and she couldn't help but smile at him with a shake of her head, her frustrations went away.
She continued to clean the mess that her baby boy was creating in this small 2 bedroom apartment.

There was a knock at the door. "Let mommy see who that is.. don't throw anymore on the floor." Winter told her 12 month old son.

She wiped her hands on her dish cloth and she opened the door

She wiped her hands on her dish cloth and she opened the door. She took a deep breath when she saw three hench, intimidating men standing in front of her. "No... no more... please.. take it back with you.. I don't want it here with my son.."

One of the men raised his eyebrows at her as the two others set to work carrying things sealed and in bags to her place. "Bosses orders I'm afraid... oh, nearly forgot he said he will call you too and his words were, that you need to pick up first time .. cos you haven't been a good girl..." he said with a sarcastic smirk, as he directed the other 2 men that he had entered with on where to stash the sacks of white and brown powder.

Indy watched as she saw them also bring in some handguns, ammunition and a case full of cash. She chewed her lips, and she watched holding her son in her arms as they hid the goods behind panels that had been strategically placed in the walls and hidden panels in the drawers too.

"Don't worry baby girl... L will call you.." the main guy said with a smile and left with the others just as quickly as they had arrived.

Indy sighed and shook her head. She sat her son in his crib so that he could play for a minute as she sat on the bed deep in thought. She put her head in her hands and as she did her cellphone rang next to her on the bed. She looked at it for a second, as if it was poison, before she picked up.

"... now, where have you been?."

"Trying to live my life... trying to raise my son...

"He's my son too... and when I tell you to be somewhere I expect you to be there...

"You promised that you wouldn't send anymore stuff this way... so why is my apartment now full of your shit Eli!.."

"I paid for the apartment right...
She was quiet.
"am I right?.."

"Yes...

"Well then, that means that I can put anything that I want there and you don't have any right to say shit about it... you can always move out..." he paused. "Oh wait you can't, cos yo ass relies on me for everything....

"This is our baby boy's home, his peace, now there are guns here and ammo....

"SHUT.. yo dam mouth now!." He yelled. " You don't ever speak about shit like this on an open line do you understand me?.."

Indy hung up on him, she threw her phone on the bed in anger. She looked at her son who was blissfully unaware playing and babbling in his crib.
She hated that this was them right now, but now she was caught up with this man, she wasn't allowed out so easily and he had insured to make it that way.
