"...you and mommy are going to go for a nice long walk..." Indy said taking her son from his crib, she was still reeling from the whole days activity and events so far. She had gotten herself ready to leave her apartment for a while and take a stroll with her baby boy. She needed to breathe. She slipped her son's coat on his arms, there was a cold chill in the air now that summer had passed and autumn was well on its way. Indy loved this time of year, she loved to walk and clear her mind. Passing people on the street trying to work out what secrets they held, thinking to herself if only they knew what this young, sweet mommy knew and was involved in.
She clipped Darin into the stroller and was about to open her apartment door when she came face to face with Lee and Reggie, two of the most trusted and loyal main men in Eli's cartel business. Reggie smiled. "Goin' anywhere nice?."
"I just wanted to take him for a walk and get some fresh air" she said knowing that Reggie was the one who watched her regularly, she had seen him in his car posted up outside of her apartment.
"Well that's gonna have to wait... Eli is in the club and he wants us to take you there.. now!.." he said to her, with a voice that stated that there was no negotiation on that. She sighed and knew that she had no choice but to meet with him. She knew he knew that the feds had been at her place, he had people watching everything, eyes everywhere, he wasn't going to have missed that.
She carried her son down to the waiting SUV, another fully tinted, bullet proof car that Eli seemed to have a fleet of. Milo was driving, he was the younger brother of Eli, she had seen him before when she had shared vacations with Eli back before her pregnancy. Everyone knew about her except his wife, she and Darin were his best kept secrets in that respect.
The boys laughed and joked as she sat silently in the car with her son strapped in next to her. Milo noticed. "Indy... you're as quiet as hell girl, sup with you?.."

She looked at him in the rear view mirror. "Your brother, there is what's wrong with me!." She said with meaning.
"He ain't all bad." He smiled. "It could be worse..
"Oh yeah.. how so?... I'm basically a guarded prisoner, I can't take a shit without him knowing about it... I can't have any kinda life... and my son here doesn't deserve it... I wish I never met him." She said with a deep rooted honesty. They all went quiet as they felt that sincerity that she had in her voice. It felt like a lonely life for her, now she had his som and he had told her the truth about himself.
