Eli had left the house almost as soon as he and Indy had arrived back in Manhattan. He pulled in quick at the clinic, keeping Milo on Indy to make sure that she didn't leave the house, He ran inside and saw Jax in the waiting room with his head in his hands. "Is he still in there?."
Jax looked up and saw his brother. "Don't you ever answer yo fuckin' phone bro! I've been callin' you man... there has been a complication..."

Eli stared at him. "What do you mean, a complication?."
Jax got up and waved down the doctor who was standing near the nurses desk. The man walked over and met with Eli's glare. "Mr Bennet... there has been a set back..."
"You better start talkin!"
"The chip has moved... and had embedded itself in tissue close to the heart... we always knew it was going to be a risk if not moved quickly enough after birth...
"What the fuck are you tellin' me right now!." He said growing irate.
"If we try to remove the chip... it will kill him..." Jaxon said.
"There gotta be something you can do." Eli said through gritted teeth.
The doctor shook his head. "We can go into a 9 hour surgery right now to remove it but it is a 75 percent chance that he might not make it..."
Eli looked at the floor for a second. "Just do it.."
As the doctor nodded and walked off to prep for this very risky surgery, Jaxon looked at his brother. "So, you don't care about yo son at all..."
"Of course I do... but that chip is gonna set me.." he paused and looked at his brother. "Us up for life... we're gonna want for nothing..." he sighed. "Look I need to get back to Indy... or she will start to get suspicious..."
"Aren't you supposed to be taking him back to her right now... what are you even gonna tell her?.." Jax said.
Eli smirked. "Don't worry bro it is all in hand... just let me know if anything changes here and I'll be back in a few hours..."
As he left the hospital so his cell rang. "Hey baby.. I was on my way home... I'll be there in 1 hour... be ready for me, I have had a hell of a day..."
"... I'm just glad you're back Eli... where is the chip?." Tia asked.
"The doctors are doing their thing right now on him... and I need a warm, wet distraction..."
Tia laughed. "Okay I'll out on your favourite lace number..."
"You better do that.." he ended the call to head back to Indy to keep her sweet for now.
