"...Eli is here man...

"Let him through." Che said as he sat in his office with a small glass of Hennessy in his hand. He swirled his drink in his glass as Eli was shown into his office.

"I'm here to take her off yo hands... thanks for havin' her man..." Eli said to him.

"She's not here...

"She's not here

Eli frowned. "What the fuck did you jus' say?."

"I said she's not here... you spooked her, earlier, the way that you spoke to her.. she packed her and the boy up and headed back to Manhattan."

"And you jus' LET HER GO!.." Eli slammed his hands on the desk. "What the fuck man!.."

"She's a free woman right?... she wasn't my prisoner.. cos if she was supposed to be I shoulda had a heads up at least right?." He said back to him with a straight face. "Now, I did you yo favour man... so you can leave now..."

Eli narrowed his eyes at him. "You knew the deal mother fucker... I entrusted her to you.."

"And I kept up my end of the bargain... she wanted to go so I let her go..." he shrugged. "Besides yo wifey is here right?.. so what need do you have for a side chick?... let her go!.."

"Don't think you can tell me shit!.. I need that boy..."

Che furrowed his brow. "Co-parent...

"Naw... You don't understand and I don't need to tell you... but trust me... if she has gone MIA and I can't find her ass in Manhattan... yo head is gonna roll!..."

Che just sighed. "And on that note.. leave my fuckin' house punk ass mother fucker!.." he said bringing his gun out of the top drawer of his desk, and cocking it.

Eli retreated, he was on his territory, his back up was outside, he knew he had to let this one go, for now.

".... Thank you!.." Indy said as the cab rolled to a stop outside of her sister's place in Manhattan. She had lost her phone, or rather she knew that Eli must've taken it when he came round earlier that day. She had no way of contacting her sister, because she didn't memorise numbers, nowadays there wasn't a need for that with phones constantly in hand.

She carried Darin's car seat up to the door and she rang the doorbell, "cmon Cara.. please be in.." she said to herself, not wanting any to know she was back apart from her sister.

There was no answer, and she was about to give up and head to a hotel, knowing it would be a bad idea to head home. Eli would have someone there in a shot. She heard a voice coming from a car stopped just up the street. It was a Rolls-Royce Ghost, blacked out windows. She swallowed hard thinking she had been followed by Miller or Milo.
She was quickly trying to get herself an Uber, when the door of the car opened and Jay stood looking at her.
"India...
She wouldn't look up.
"India, don't act like you don't know I'm here...
