Indy woke up in a perfect home overlooking the Manhattan skyline. This was Jay's place, he used it when he was in Manhattan from LA but it wasn't widely known to many people. Indy stood on the balcony looking over the city with the breeze blowing her hair. She hadn't slept more than an hour, Darin was restless and her vibe wasn't a good one for him to connect with either because she was so deep in her feelings over the way she had been treated by Eli. There was a knock at the door. She walked across to open it. A woman stood there with a tray in her hand. "Mr Tanner didn't want to disturb you so he asked me to bring you a breakfast selection." She said setting the tray down on her bedside table.
"Can I speak to Jay please...
"Of course... I'll ask him to come and see you.." she said and left the room.
She picked up her son from where he had slept in the bed next to her. It wasn't idea, but she didn't have anywhere else for him to sleep seeing as this was a rushed and unforeseen circumstance. She kissed his head as he nestled sleepily against her. The door opened and Jay stood there. "You asked to see me?.."
She nodded. " I want you to speak to Eli on my behalf and tell him I want him to leave me alone please, I've had time to think about it overnight and I do not want to go back into this with him... he has a wife who he doesn't want to let go of so he doesn't need me. There is absolutely no reason for him to be chasing me..." she said.

"But what about the boy, you know he's gonna want to see him?.."
"Tell him we can discuss that when I'm settled and feeling like I'm not his fucking doormat!." She added.
"Aite.. I'll call him." He told her. "But how are you feelin' this morning?.."
"Better....
"Well, I am heading back to LA tomorrow... so I would like to see you settled before I go... do you have somewhere you can go?."
"He's gonna come to my sister's... I need to be somewhere that he won't expect me to be.."
"Look, if it makes you feel better, you can come with me... to LA... it'll be some respite for you too.. take yo mind off things." He said to her. "while you work out what it is that you are going to do.." he added.
"Thank you but I need to stay for now... I have to try and get hold of my sister somehow let her know that I'm over him and...
"you're over him?... girl, you are nowhere near over him... if he came looking for you, he could easily Sweettalk you back into his life and you know it..."
"For now I just want him to know... how I feel... I don't have a crystal ball and I can't see into the future.. I just know how I feel now.." she said.
