I'm the youngest one in my family, Aria is the eldest and I actually have a brother, Mason, who recently went off to college. Being the youngest comes with all the pros and cons, more cons in my case. Every mistake done by my siblings puts up another barrier in my life by my parents. Aria ended her abusive relationship few months back which I think made a bigger impact on me than her as my Parents decided to take preventative measures for me not to end up the same..

I'm 15 now, never had a boyfriend, first love first kiss or even a proper guy friend. Even if I have one how am I gonna freaking talk to him?! I'm not allowed any social media platforms or mobiles and more importantly NO BOYFRIENDS. You don't know what it's like to be in high school for loner nerds like us. No wonder I was desperate to be in love even though I knew very less about it.

It has been a good few days since I first met Tate. It's summer vacation here so me, Aria, Riley, Tate and their cousins hung out a lot. As I said, our outings has been non stop ever since. I think I was drawn to them more because deep inside I was lonely with my cousins ditching me, I kinda replaced them with Riley's family and her cousins and their dog! Yeas you heard me right, his name's cookie and he's the goodest boy in the town!

With Mason also being away most of my life, I suddenly bonded with Nathan unexpectedly, he is one crazy guy with a big heart and by this time he made it pretty clear to me that he likes my sister and that Tate likes me, he might be looking for a win-win situation lol. In between so many changes, One thing has remained constant throughout all of it, Tate and I didn't speak a word, it was as if we spoke through our heart, actually no, our eyes. Those magical eye contacts.. who knew you could say so much with just your eyes. But that changed as well when he talked to me for the very first time when we went to a beautiful place for picnic last Tuesday. Trust me when I say the whole day and that very moment was magical. It rained heavily whole day so we had to host our picnic indoor and decided to get wet in the rain afterwards. Tate looked like a dream as he wore a black shirt with beige pants. Nothing sexier than a man in black. I wore a light pink dress that day as well (I started wearing pink more after he came in my life) and my favourite black Anne Clein wrist watch. I sat on a swing looking at the beautiful nature, Riley and her cousin sat beside me. "Oh no, my watch is all drenched in rain! Riley do you have your bag with you? I need to put it in your bag." "But I left it at the cottage. Wait, Tate! Come here, Marina's watch is soaked up in rain, keep it in your pocket. Marina give it to him." And so I did, we looked at each other as I gave it to him, he smiled as our hands touched.

After a crazy fun filled day, it was finally time for us to go home. Riley hugged Ari and me, "Nathan drop Marina and Ari on the way home." "I'm also coming!", screamed Tate as he jumped to the backseat of the car with me. I could clearly see the look on everyone's face which made me blush so hard. Of course Nathan is trying back and forth to impress Ari, he is a pretty funny guy but with Ari being traumatised still I don't know if it'll go somewhere. Suddenly I remembered Tate had my watch. I looked over at him, trying to make up the words to ask back for it and failing miserably. I think he understood, "here is your watch. It stopped working due to the rain but don't worry, I fixed it." Honestly he had me at the very first day but this.. this right here was the sweetest thing anyone has done for me in a while.
"Thank you, you didn't have to do that." "It's a pleasure. Btw do you have any social media?" And friends, for the record I DID NOT except Snapchat which I secretly used. I looked at Ari because I knew she was eavesdropping so With utter disappointment I coughed and said "um, no, not at this moment." I could see Tate being upset and that made me want to run away leaving behind all these mess, overprotectiveness and everything.

They dropped us home. Even though I was sad over us not being able to communicate through social media or calls even, I was grateful for the amazing day I spent and I knew there were more to come.

"Why are you two so late?! Aria you're elder have some fucking sense." "But we were with Riley I told you, they even dropped us home." "I don't care okay? Stop going out this much. You'll make Marina just like you." "What do you mean? Just because I take it all in doesn't mean you'll say just about anything!" "Try me! You just ended a relationship. Everyone knows! We're a laughing stock! Get some grip upon yourself!" "Yeah I wish I was dead! Being with him was probably better than living in this hell you all!" "Then leave my house!"

Yeah, happiness doesn't seem to last for long in my home. Seems like it's not just me who has a complicated relationship with my mother. I hate to see Ari going through this. I wish I could help. I've decided, the more scoldings and obstacles my parents throw her way, I'll fill it up with good things twice that amount for her so that it's somewhat easier for her. I know when the time comes, she'll do the same for me, I hope at least.
